It was Egypt who occupied Gaza. Israel took it back when they defeated Egypt, then handed it to Palestinians. Israel recovered West Bank from Jordan. Technically, Israel took nothing from Palestine. Palestine doesn't have a definitive territory in the first place.
I think Israel moved out of Palestine in 2006
In 2005 they gave it to the PLO, and in 2006 Hamas won the elections.
