And here we see the Wild Chris in it's natural habitat. Surviving mostly on puns and random facts about Disney it thrives when able to share that knowledge with the world. Go forth, Chris.

It used to be when you stood by the petrified tree and looked at NOS rooftops, you could see the fake tops of sailing ships “ behind “ club 33. Also, next to the entrance sign of Indiana Jones is a tree, at its base is a tiny leprechaun house made to resemble the one in the Little man of Disneyland book.

Stepping on the musical symbols is cool but for me the fire insurance plaques are nuts. Actually sending people to New Orleans for I’m guessing a decent time period just to fine these old plaques that probably you and two other people have ever noticed is unbelievable. I really do appreciate it though.
We may not notice things like those plaques or mud paint or rust paint, but somewhere in our minds we actually do. We notice when recreations or themes don’t look right and although we probably can’t put our finger on what is missing, we definitely know when it’s amazing and know when something is off. That’s the magic of Disney Imagineering and why crazy level of attention to detail is very important. 🤙🏻

I know many many Disneyland secrets. I've have been and continue to be a Disneyland kid for over 50 years and am a Disneyland trivia buff. But you got me. Never noticed the pole at Toontown. Knew about the FI plaques but had only ever found 5 of them missed the red one by club 33. Thanks for finishing the quest. The rest I did know and the bulb is a favorite. I think the red and white light one is so funny. If it was me I would’ve just redesigned the whole thing so that there was an even number of lightbulbs.

Another super awesome vid. I will be 63 on June 25th. I have visited Disneyland since I was 3 years old. I am a former cast member. I used to work at Disneyland, yet, I have never noticed the fire insurance plaques, Monstro and the crocodile on top of the buildings, the lighter colored wood in Frontierland, or the camouflage rain gutter. I feel like a kid again, rediscovering the different parts of the park. Another fun thing to point out would be, again on NOS, on top of the stairs of Pirates. That would the initials engraved in the iron work to depict Walt and Roy Disney. Thank you so much Chris. I voted for Legoland, but it seems that the majority is another park. That will still be another great vid.

I don't know if someone already mentioned this but those "mud boards" are actually painted a lighter color intentionally as a safety feature to let people see there is an edge or step there. Usually steps are painted a bright yellow or red color but this was a subtle way to paint it so that it was noticeable but also more safe for guests.
