Love your vids, Chris! Love your "blathering, rambling, wandering" and your "WHAAAt?" Both you and Disneyland make me feel happy when I'm struggling with mental health issues. Keep 'em coming!
been binging your videos the Past 5 days, me and my fam went to Disneyland together this past Sunday . it was our first visit in 10 years . your videos really got me in a great mood and hyped us up for our visit :) it would be awesome to run into you next time we are in the park! you seem like the best person to go to Disneyland with!
All PPP videos are amazing, but these unknown details are my absolute favorite! Knowing these details helps me stop and enjoy "the Disney" while there!
I have been watching your videos for about a year. I look forward to them daily. Your enthusiasm and positivity are infectious and inspiring. I’m headed to Disneyland tomorrow and look forward to taking in all the fun facts you have presented. Just when it seems like there can’t possibly be any more unknown facts, you find them! Thank you!
Thank you. As a widow/single-mom, I really needed this reminder. I'm trying to be the best that I can for my kiddos. Also, thank you for letting us join you at Disney! I really miss going, so 'going with you' helps lift my spirits. Thank you for spreading and sharing the MAGIC!!
Hey Chris, disabled Marine combat veteran here, love how you stop and give inspirational messages to your viewers! Has a very Mr. Rogers feel-good vibe and really appreciate that about your videos!
Great video! I have ridden Incredicoaster exactly two times, and I did not catch the cookie smell. That gives me a reason to ride it again! Absurd fact: When you walk into Disneyland and onto Main Street USA, it is a special day. What day is it? It is Independence Day (4th of July)!. How can you tell? The streets are full of people, including families and children, excited and preparing for the day's festivities. The kids are not at school and the parents are not at work. There are lots of American flags and red, white, and blue banners decorating the street and buildings. Later in the day you might see a marching band and/or a parade. And at night you will probably see a big fireworks display.
Another Great Video guys!!! 3 days left til we get there! Thanks for showing the esplande....I was very curious how large it was and how close each park was, LazerCat
Love the idea of redoing or re- releasing videos. Not enough you tubers realize the value in this Been subbed little more than 6 months I think. I like the family friendly but very quality content
I just found your channel a few days ago, and binge watched a lot of your videos. I absolutely love your channel and just the overall positivity you sprinkle into your videos. The world needs more of that and I just wanted to comment and say how fantastic you and your wife are!!!
I was just at Disneyland as a stop on my honeymoon. A cast member told us 2 facts. The Luxo Lamp on top of the Pixar Pier sign actually turns to look at World of Color when it starts. Also Mickey’s Fun Wheel blinks green on top right before the start of World of Color. I can verify both are true. Not sure if it was mentioned before.
Yes Chris, you have hit the nail on the head, spending time with family and friends, yes Friends is the best thing about being at Disneyland. We love all the videos you post but all the Disneyland videos always makes us feel great. That you for coming into our home through your videos and bringing happines. You are all awsome and we love your family. Thank you.
Thank you, Chris.... for the single parent uplift. I am going through some tough times. Stuff I could never think was real. I've always gone to DL with my daughter and in the middle of the start of the pandemic to DW. Her dad was not around much and it was our happy place. I am a nurse and the last few years have been extremely difficult at work and now with a teenage daughter, at home as well. I always hoped she'd be an independent strong woman. She is caring, and compassionate, but unfortunately has feelings of abandonment. I need her to find strength and love for herself.Thank you for always uplifting us and your words of love and empowerment.
"Let's be classy." *Immediately wipes cup on forehead* I don't know if that was an intentional joke but it was really funny. Also I really appreciate the thing about acronyms even though I know what DCA is I've always had that thought. It really shows how dedicated you are to inclusivity.
Another excellent video! Here's something you may not have known about this video. As you passed people, occasionally they would look at you, then EXCITEDLY point at you for their companions. I imagine they were saying, "LOOK! LOOK! That's him! That's the guy! The guy the cops are looking for!" Have you ever mentioned the horse ride that was in Frontierland in the early days? I recall as a little kid being on it. They had the horses kind of strung together, and I think it was where Big Thunder Railroad now is. I don't think it lasted long. But I remember it well, since it seemed to me that the horse I was on was trying to bite me (I'm sure it was my imagination), and I was subsequently terrified of horses. And THAT is why, when I stumbled on a "western equitation" class offered at BYU, I took it to get over that fear. I did, I fell in love with them. And ended up riding like the Lone Ranger.
Chris...I just want to say thank you. You always have something kind to say, and it means a lot to me. No one says the kind things like you do, and it gets me right in the feels every time. So thank you so much. You are appreciated.
I LIVE for these fun facts videos. Great to see you back at the home park! I teared up a little at the "John LasseTIRE" detail because I thought it was just such a great tribute to him.
Nothing absurd about what you do - thank you. So you know: I wasn't a Dad until I was 41 and so I thought I'd outgrown Disneyland in my 30s... but, boy did I become one again when my daughter came along. To see the look on her eyes when she first saw Sleeping Beauty Castle... priceless! Oh, yeah - please do a piece on the cats of Disneyland, as we are cat lovers at home! Thx!
I appreciate YOU! Thank you for all the tips, tricks, hidden info, extra facts you provide in your videos. Love, love, love you, Amanda and Miles❤️ My 74 yr old husband and I are planning a trip to Disneyland and DCA in September and have learned so much watching you. We are so excited 😆
so love these trivia videos chris! found the noise abatement design very interesting. and thanks again for the encouragement note. we ALL need that kind of love. thanks for being a gentleman. - Mark from NorCal
Chris, I love all your videos! Your recent video showing the hidden Mickey in the wood fence on the Big Thunder Trail was great. I found it and showed it to several friends. About a week ago, I tried to show it to another friend and it was gone! I was so disappointed! Do you know what happened it it?
Come for Disneyland facts, stay for the motivational talks ❤️ I’m a stay at home mom to a 5 month old and yesterday was extra hard. I loved your talk so much I had to watch it twice ❤️
YOU are awesome Chris! You, Amanda, Miles, all of you are just wonderful! I have been watching you guys for years! I remember your video talking about the Test Wall when it first came out. I love all the love, detail and just everything you put into what you share with us. Thank you for all you do! PS- I am the disabled Hades fan. I don't comment much, but I am always here for you guys! Much love!
When were you there? My sisters and I visited Disneyland for the first time just last week! We spent three days there and had a blast. You’re so right that spending the time with family and friends there is the best part
Now I know why I always want a cookie nom nom when I get off the Incredicoaster. I had no idea that ride had a cookie smell in it. I learned something new today.
Not sure if you've talked about it in another video but when the sun sets, they turn on the neon in Radiator Springs and play Sh-Boom(Life could be a dream) like how it happens in the movie. They start turning on the neon from where RSR is then down the street
Chris, love your videos so much! I have learned lots of amazing Disney facts and trivia from you ever since the pandemic began. Whenever I put your channel on, Disney and PPP come up in my mind and I get mind blown. You make my day each and every time!!
Love all your videos. Can’t be down on life when watching you. You’re a breath of fresh air. Each time we go to the parks, I hope we see you. One of these days. Will be hard to not come up and hug you. 😊
I always enjoy the videos and didn't know about the memo. I'm fascinated by Disney history. You probably wouldn't want to do this video, but there interesting facts about deaths in the park and ghosts and spirits that have been seen, like Walt Disney's ghost on the Mark Twain at night, especially after the park closes. Personally, I think that would be interesting, especially around Halloween. We have boos detailing them...
I showed my best friend the brick wall when we were there in October after watching your videos. I had so many fun facts to give her on our trip! We had so much fun. Thank you for sharing your Disney love and your enthusiasm for all the fun facts.

When you work on a project for so many years, you have many opportunities to add a LOT of inside jokes! If you look at the bulletin boards in the office area just after the safety film room in Indiana Jones at DL, most of them have hidden Easter eggs on the notes. Most of the addresses there are legendary locations around the WDI campus in Glendale, (1401 Flower, Grand Central, etc.) You’ll usually only notice them as special if you’ve actually worked there!
I appreciate you reminding me to hit that like button! I always forget, but it feels good to show my support. Also, I didn't know about the Philly Phonics. I love them. Thanks for sharing 😍🎶
As one of the fortunate to have spent time with Chris, this video is the epitome of why I love him so much. "Let's talk about Constance in the Haunted Mansion ... we have a podcast ... over there is a squirrel ... what was I talking about? Oh yeah! Mint juleps."
Lol… acronyms are a fact of life at Imagineering! When I was working on Mad T Party, I defined by destination as DLR - DCA - MTP - HOC which was the Disneyland Resort, Disney California Adventure, Mad T Party and the House of Cards stage!
I just stopped the video after hearing the comment about single parents. And Chris....you BREAK MY HEART!!!! You are the MOST positive person!!! And my question, is HOW DO YOU DO IT and stay ok in today's world. I have been told by my Dr that I am SUPER SPECIAL for always seeing the World though my Rose Colored Glasses. But it is very challenging to not feel knocked down a lot. You ARE DISNEY MAGIC!!!!!! Thank you for JUST BEING YOU!!! (And Amanda and Miles too of course!!)
Hi Chris! We just booked our trip AND through Get Away Today (wonderful experience). I'm wondering if you have a video on the things like the band, parade, characters, etc as far as how often and where the best spots for viewing, etc. Also, is there a train or something you can ride that goes through main street on those tracks?
Thank you ☺ Chris for doing it for me that was so nice 😊 of you. Joey also knows his song structure and his songwriting and also story very well but what I say house of hits lives but it’s called real feel recording studio. And it’s doing well. And yesterday in my honest opinion livestream is definitely your recreation of the 90’s livestream in my honest opinion would say.
Hey Chris, you've probably been over this but I'm wondering... Why the tie all the time? I can't imagine wearing a tie while visiting the Disney parks. It appears to have become a trademark. Also, and I think I'm too late because I think he's retired, have you ever done a video about Maynard and how he became the favorite cast member of SOOOO many guests? Glad to have you back home safely!
So much fun. I love your "blathering" as you walk! I don't know if this is absurd or interesting, or boring and well-known, but they used to attach the Lilly Belle to the back of the train on certain days, and there was a "secret" line you could wait in at the Main Street station when the park opened. It was first come first served, with limited tickets each day. If you got a ticket you could ride the Lilly Belle around the park with a tour guide. We got to do it in maybe 2016? I still have my ticket! They stopped in 2018 I believe.
Very Interesting video! One of my favorite small details is that on the stop light in cars land, every third blink is slower. Referencing in the movie when Filmore says “I swear every third blink is slower mannn”
Love your vids, was wondering if you knew/could talk about the secret nail that Walt Disney nailed down under the sleep beauty castle ? It’s said to be at the exact coordinate centre of the park !! Very cool
Hi Chris, we wondered what the distance is, in feet, between the entrance of Disneyland and California Adventure. Also, what is the length of time to walk between those 2 entrances. We love your enthusiastic videos.😊😊😊
👍🏻👍🏻nice job love your videos! You always make me laugh when im in the dumps! I also really hope you see my comment! Bless you Chris,Amanda and miles! Have a magical day or night! 💚💙💚💙💚🤍💚💙💚💙💚
Love your videos, just a quick thing as far as i can tell from photos of California Screamin' it always had all the scream tubes they have on Incredicoaster.
The thing about the bench in the lobby of Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is that nobody actually knows whether Walt sat on it (though he likely did). The Walt Disney Museum also has a bench from the the carousel at Griffith Park where he would watch his daughters ride. There were several benches there, and nobody know if Walt sat on all of them at one point (again, likely), or if he had one specific bench on which he sat. So there's really no way of knowing whether that's "the bench" or not. The bench is still an absolute treasure, and I would love to sit on it and just feel like Walt, but it's roped off so I respect it as the artifact that it is. I just wish I could see Walt's apartment above the Fire House in person. I had a friend who got to see it, but even as a cast member I never got to go up there. It's like the freight elevator in New Orleans Square (near the restrooms, behind the "saloon doors," as I called them). Many times I used that to restock vending carts, taking things from the underground New Orleans Main Kitchen (which supplies the food for every restaurant in the land) to the level of the land. But that elevator also goes up to Club 33. But word was that if you pressed the button to go to Club 33, there would be someone waiting at the elevator door and if you weren't authorized to deliver something to Club 33, that was instant termination. But that's up there with the rumor about Eisner saying that a monkey could do a cast member's job -- it floated around backstage as a rumor, but I've tried to verify both and haven't been able to. I don't actually know of anyone being fired for hitting the wrong button (intentionally or not) and I've never found a source for the Eisner quote, so take those with a huge boulder of salt. As always, Chris (and Amanda, and Miles), love your videos. Keep being you -- you are all amazing people, and if I ever have a family, I hope it is as cool as yours (not likely, but one can hope).
I loved how you just quickly added small extra facts about things as you walked by it in between locations! Please do this more!!
Love your vids, Chris! Love your "blathering, rambling, wandering" and your "WHAAAt?" Both you and Disneyland make me feel happy when I'm struggling with mental health issues. Keep 'em coming!

Is it an absurd fact that there’s a large tree in the park shaped like the Matterhorn to hide it from certain viewpoints in other lands?

Awesome facts
Love your videos, just a quick thing as far as i can tell from photos of California Screamin' it always had all the scream tubes they have on Incredicoaster.
I am in the video 🤣🤣🤣 6:53
Love your Disneyland / CDA videos...to relieve a brain freeze, I put my tongue to the roof of my mouth. Works for me! 😉
If it's still there, I love the snoring bear that was there for Country Bear Jamboree.
The meandering is fine but I think there are not enough puns.🤣

Just got our first quote from Get Way Today for our Disneyworld honeymoon.
Of course we had to name drop Chris :)
Yay! Great place for a honeymoon!
