This video is just a quick tutorial of how I inject wegovy. If you haven't been prescribed the medication, I hope you see how quick and easy it is to inject. If you are a little squeamish with needles, the needle is so tiny and it's literally just a small prick. You got this!!

2month Update:
So i’m now at 1ml for wegovy. In total I’ve lost about 17lb in two months. The .5ml didn’t do much the first two weeks but the 1ml is much more effective.
keep in mind that’s with little to almost no exercise if I’m honest. I have a back injury I’ve been trying to heal. So don’t expect a drastic change if you’re not working out. No major side effects for me. I only get nausea when I smell something extremely bad. Some minor stomach cramps every blue moon, and very little breakouts on my face that went away after a week, No constipation issues.

So now that you’ve been on the medication for a while, how do you feel? I’m about to start mine today did you get nausea?
@@doloresgil1328 I barely have any symptoms now but when I first started the 2.4 mg dose I did experience nausea. I occasionally have dry mouth but I guzzle so much water that it really isn’t an issue. Overall I feel great! I hope it goes well for you also!!

Do you take it room temp or straight out the fridge?

Hi Kia I'm gonna inject tonight just seeing this video. I thought you inject in Your thigh? Which one is easier or better.
Hi, I had less side effects in my thigh so it was a preferred injection site for some time. But my doctor’s suggestion was to try all recommended injection sites (upper arm, stomach, thigh) each week to see which site your body responds best to.

I just did it and it leaked 😔
I let go of my thigh during injection and I heard 2nd click when I let go. I held the pen on there for count of 12.
@@mixedangel200 It’s ok, no worries… you’ll get better with injecting the medication each week. You were probably just a little nervous… it happens. The important thing is that you conquered your fear and you’ve officially started your Wegovy journey! I’m so proud of you!!💕

The only comment that i have that is negative, is , don't blow the clean site after cleaning with alcohol, because your blowing germs back onto the site you just cleaned, lol. Other wise love your video.

Quick question why the arm or leg ? When I went to my clinic to pick up mine the doctor said we gonna do stomach only and I was nervous to ask why lol ❤
Hi, personally my arm and leg is just preferred. My doctor as well as the official Wegovy website listed the upper arms, stomach and thigh as acceptable injection sites. Also I’m just personally nervous to inject anything into my stomach but it is a recommended injection site. But I’m not sure why your doctor only wants you to inject the medication into your stomach. There are some injection instructions in your Wegovy prescription box and step 2 says “your healthcare provider can help choose the injection site that is best for you .” So perhaps your doctor feels your stomach is the best injection site. I hope this helped!
Thanks so much I will get the courage to ask her next time because I was so confused why she specifically wanted me to do my stomach as I was only 5 weeks post of my hysterectomy and my stomach incisions were so fresh
Awww I hope your recovery is going well ❤️🩹 that is very interesting and I am super curious to know why as well please ask your doctor… I believe your doctor should be willing to answer and effectively explain any questions you have regarding your medical treatment and all prescribed medications . So I sincerely hope you work up the courage by your next visit💕
I only got 1 click, but I got the yellow pane.
Yes when you initially push the pen firmly against your skin you’ll hear that first click, then the yellow pane will begin to move and then you’ll hear that second click.

Did you experience any nausea as the dosage got stronger? I am experiencing with this dosage
Hi👋🏽… yes absolutely, the nausea was present at the lower dosages but was really bad when starting the 1.7 and 2.4 mg doses. I was able to counteract the nausea by drinking peppermint tea, chewing gum and I also realized that on the days I didn’t drink enough water was also the days my nausea was at the worst. So make sure to drink plenty of water. Please try the foregoing and hopefully your nausea will subside. On the bright side… I have absolutely NO nausea now! So hang in there!!💕

Also, did you feel it affected your eye sight at all? Since starting the upper dose I feel dizzy similar to when I had to get my eyes checked for prescription
@@griseldaambriz5903 Hi, no I haven’t noticed any vision changes but my eyesight isn’t the best! I did experience feeling lightheaded but that was remedied by me adjusting my calories and staying hydrated. However, perhaps you should consult with your physician just in case just to be cautious. There have been quite a few people who have reported strange symptoms.

@Zannyiia 👋🏽 Hi, I’ve been on wegovy since June 2023 and I’ve lost over 60 lbs… I’ve plateaued a little bit as of recently but I’m hanging in there, I’m super close to my goal weight.
Did you get nausea when you first started wegovi I’m going to start my injections today. A little nervous I’m not gonna lie.
Yes, I was nauseous but drinking plenty of water, chewing gum, and drinking peppermint tea really helps combat nausea. The nausea lasted quite a bit throughout my journey but eventually subsided.
It’s me again 😂😂 I prefer your video above others because of your voice. lol It is so soothing! Here we go, injection time!!! 😅😅

Don’t worry… you may not have any symptoms at all and if you do perhaps they’ll be mild especially if you’re starting at the lowest dose. I’m excited for you to start your journey! I injected my first dose today into my stomach, I didn't see any leakage but I couldn't feel anything. There was a little ring around the injection site. I'm a little concerned that I didn't do it right. How do I know if I did it wrong?
Hi, if there is no liquid left in the injection pen then you know it entered into your body especially if there was no leakage and you saw there was liquid prior to the injection. I always have a little ring left on my skin on injection day but it disappears after a while. As a side note always inspect your pen prior to injection to make sure it has liquid and that the fluid is not cloudy. I hope this helps!!

Ummm I think it depends on where you inject yourself. The thigh isn’t bad… nor is the back of the upper arm. It’s a tiny prick and it doesn’t hurt that much but if you do have pain… it won’t last very long. Also once you get use to injecting yourself, it’ll be your new normal… it’s not bad at all! Honestly, I’ve felt much worse 💉🤗

Hi there, yes I typically allow my pen to set out for about 30 minutes. I’ve never injected the medication cold.

I’m in 3rd month, I’ve always done my stomach. But I watched you and did my arm just now.
Hi 👋🏽 I’m interested to know if you’ll feel more appetite suppression as the week goes on or will your appetite remain the same. I also like to inject the medication in my thigh.
@@Greater_Expectations I hope I did it right. My arm feels sore. I did it right under the deltoid. I called my doctor’s office and nurse said I did. It’s a little painful. Did you ever have pain after it?
I’ve been doing my stomach for the past 3 months. Next week’s injection will be 1.7 mg.
@ChronicallyJenny Yes, I felt a little pain and it usually subsides. I remember the first few times I injected in my arm it hurt but I think now I’ve just gotten use to it.

How is it? Does the first dose worK?
@lf9341 Yes, for me the .25 mg dose provided some appetite suppression but it wasn’t very strong. I did lose some weight at the lower doses but the real magic began to happen once I reached 1.7 mgs.
@@Greater_Expectations Oh! Any constipation? My friend on the highest dose lost 30 lbs. But had hair loss..:(
@lf9341 Yes I sure did have constipation early on. But I stay hydrated and take fiber supplements and so these days constipation is very rare. Metamucil is a great fiber supplement. I haven’t experienced any hair loss but I do take Natures Bounty hair,skin, and nail gummies with collagen.
