Don’t choose the performance pack option if you live up north unless you have a heated garage. I owned a Velocity Blue 2020 GT500 for a couple of years. One my tires blew up on the highway because the car sat in my unheated garage all winter. I now own a 2024 Vapor blue GT premium with the upgraded Brembo brakes and the active exhaust. The tires are all season. A Whipple supercharger can make up for the loss of horsepower going from the GT500 to the GT but would all season tires have enough grip???
As long as it isn't the most deadlist car that fishtails on wet or dry pavement following oversteer without warning. The Fox Body from 1982 to 1993😬😵💫😵🥴🤢🤮
Absolutely love this new gen7 Mustang! Home run Ford Motor. Everyone else abandoning real sports cars. Want my new GT 5.0L w/ track package/ ZF 6spd/ black on black! Cannot go wrong. 💯 -NY
I would totally be PROUD to drive a new Mustang Ecoboost! It's very quick w/track package. Proven Gen2- 2.3L GTDI engine 315hp/ 350lb tq. Plenty. Plus great MPG's! Get your order in. I have . 👍🏻
Absolutely love my 2018 GT Premium, 6 speed, PP1 with Magna-ride & active valve exhaust. Thinking about purchasing essentially the same package in a 2025 Mustang - Just can’t seem to get past the iPad dashboard 🤠
Personally I think Ford dropped the ball with this car. That front fascia is a step down from the S550, I can’t get myself to start liking the rear end. The steering doesn’t give feed back as much as the S550, and when opening that door those iPads glued to a plain Jane dash is horrific. If the screen goes out your car is down. No analog anything anywhere. No analog radio or AC controls. No toggles to add mods or control anything. I suggest anyone interested in a Mustang grab a S550, it can be modded to put down 500 horsepower to the pavement not just the crank naturally aspirated. Unlike the S650 which comes locked from being able to tune them. One last little tid bit. Dealerships are requiring over 100,000 dollars for the Dark Horse. This is insane for a naturally aspirated American pony car that can’t be tuned.
So sad the can not get a boost with the manual...I wonder how much it would cost to swap it? Does this mean last gen manual 4 bangers are gonna shoot up in price now?
I think an automatic would work better for a turbo engine. It could shift so fast it would keep the boost going. In a manual the waste gate would drop the boost when shifting and then the turbo will need to build the boost back up again.
Are you keeping the GT500 the GT350R and getting both the Dark Horse and the GT. That’s quite a lot of Mustangs to own!! You must qualify as a a Mustang collector at this point!
Interesting that this 7th Gen Stang looks more like the outgoing Camaro than ever, from the hood heat extractor to the large sharply creased quarter panel haunches and menacing squinty headlights...
Not according to the engineers video interview. they went with a whole new body design which they stated only a few parts are interchangeable with previous Mustangs like the windshields for example. They said they wanted a clean slate

Cool video I enjoyed it... But I have one question ❓ I saw in other reviews that the steering isn't that stiff in order to give you feedback on the road no matter the menu settings even in sport mode... Is it true???? It's sad for that amount of money 💰💰💰 not being able to push the car as much as the chassis is able to.... I want your honest opinion on that now that you have driven it...
I just don't like this 2024 version, i don't like the design of the front end and i don't like this huge screen "sitting" on the dashboard. Ford's marketing department destroyed a good product.
The Mustang is supposed to be a car for everyone...the base model started a little over 23k (adjusted for inflation) in 1965....now it starts over 30k...

It would only be an Ecoboost for me, if any Mustang at all. I'd need to keep the price down and the fuel economy up as much as possible. The lighter engine would also reduce front end weight bias and probably help handling and braking. I don't need a V8.

I can only afford the 4 cylinder.

Not sure about the new ones but every mustang dyno I have seen ford under rates the horsepower and people are pleasantly surprised

Who reviews a 'Stang, non manual dude ?
“It is not enough horse power for me” - 486hp… Ok lol
At the crank.
Who in their right mind would want an unsavory, gritty ecoboost 2.3T in a Mustang? Especially a GT? a 480hp or 500 hp Coyote 307 CID works for me.
a number of people, both here and in europe, recognize that the v8 is an outdated dinosaur. 🤫
Ecoboost is fun to drive and modify as well. Sounds like a personal problem

The car just looks awkward. Sure it will drive well though.
The exterior is a mess, aesthetically.
And screens? I have enough screens at work plus my phone.
Why I am not: I am poor.
Less torque than the last gen.
it's not all new.........
Cloth seats in a 50 thousand dollar car....ridiculous!! Ford also need s to fix their stupid steering wheels...so uncomfortable!!
Huh?
manual only way to get a muscle car.
