    I've worked out on traditional heavy bags th-cam.com/users/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

    If you use a strong spring (length and a strong k value) between the bag and the ceiling hook, it will absorb a lot of the shock.

      All bags will take the kicks and punches but the hanging back will swing a lot. Make sure it's fitting into one of the beams. I always fit mine just off the wall so it stops the swinging about.

    which one to get an 80lbs or 100 lbs? 5ft or 6ft to hung it in my 8ft ceiling garage?
    I will be using it for boxing and muay thai too. I already have a 45lbs round water uppercut bag and a double end bag too..I used to fight in muay thai and also did some boxing while I was still competing in wrestling. Now I just wrestle but like to hit the bags still:)
    Been looking at the teardroo bags too but I think I can get more out of a full bag, what do you think?? My dad will be using it for cardio too

    • @fitness1ststeps
      @fitness1ststeps  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With an 8ft ceiling I would get the 6ft bag and hang it just off the floor so you have a full target to aim for. The weight depends on your ceiling structure really. Personally I like a softer lighter bag. How's the water bag?

      If the bags not swinging everywhere it should be OK I think. Mines fixed a few inches from the wall so it stops the swing.. I'm 5"11 and just weighed myself and was 15st10.. My free standing slam man can take a good battering from me when doing my Punchbag workout so the RDX should be OK! 👍 I've got about 100kg of sand in the base so check before you buy how much weight can be put in the base! Got home and the audio had so many clothe rubbing bits on it I couldn't use any of it so whole thing was a waste of time. It's OK if you can listen live while recording but it's only me on my own..
