[encore spoilers] in the companion story, it’s implied that encore’s grief over her mother are what awakened the woolies she created from her imagination along with her forte. The woolies are I guess these sentient beings that care for encore and a reminder of the stories she and her mother would share. I adore that the woolies console encore throughout the quest by snuggling close to her. 🥺
yes! but encore is congenital resonator, meaning she is born as a resonator. Woolies has been sentient in her sleep before her mother's death but she did not know/not realized yet. The moment she hears woolies for the first is at her mother's funeral, when she hears them from her mother's coffin. Which makes it so much sadder cause it is implied as if encore's coping mechanism fully awakened woolies and her resonance ability!

The plot rhythm is comfortable and smooth, the characters' movements and expressions are as flexible as animation, and with the ending picture and music performance, this is truly a perfect animated film
The story was amazing, it's direct to the point. There is no prolonged dialogue, and it's not about a random NPC and not about a mascot yapping. A certain game could nevah.
The most wholesome story in the game, also the animation in the dialogue is showing the improvements kuro made in every Story, I like the way the character holding something like Ying showing the map to encore, hugging the map, Holding the paper and etc, it's a bit scuffed tho but I do like kuro try to make the game more become like AAA game. Also I almost cry every time a sad scene happened, I really loved encore story. As for encore power is, It looks like she's a natural resonator and it's probably from her mother,but because of a strong emotions encore have when her mother almost passed away makes a wooly in her imagination become real. I don't know if it's correct, it's just my assumption after i read her backstory and she's classified as Congenital resonator not a mutant resonator.

Best character connection ever made with her I am a grown man who loves tragic stories but even for me encore is a little kid she doesn't deserve that much sadness 😢😢😢. By the end I swear some idiot was cutting onions in my room my eyes wouldn't stop watering I swear
the thing i like the most is that kuro doesn't do too much. they make the story like what encore is the one that make it. and that's a plus for me. she's a child and they don't over do it with the sturcture, very straigh forward and to the point. they make it feel like it's a child's play with of course some sad back story behind it (i mean it's kuro). overall, 8/10... love the story

Last time a companion quest made such an impact was with Zhongli's companion quest when I was still playing GI. In the end I don't want to leave her side anymore. Our precious Encore.

There are a lot worlds interconnected spread thruout the whole solaris, one of them is illusive realm, its not just a event its sorta/kinda connected to the lore of the world
I will not lie, I cried like a b (E) tch, it remained me of my father because just like in the story, he too would make stories with me to play when I was a child, like making me go on a hunt to find magic eggs (chocolate eggs) in the backyard and then when I would come back to home after hours he would had a big party as I made the "wish" come true so this felt like a gut punch reading this...
When encore said "enough with the homework already", I felt that.
