Can't shake the thought that us getting an ancient name is a set up to kill the traveler, i mean apparently paimon won't be allowed to come with us into the abyss, and if we get that name before going then thatd be a solid set up for killing us somehow without risking paimons safety, perhaps after dying traveler would get to meet someone or something in the night realm or something before they perform the ode of resurrection and bring him back.
You might be cooking something here. Traveler dying in the war and being resurrected by the ode or using the gnosis seem like a good reason they finally resonate with Pyro. And let's be honest, with us going to Shnez next Pyro has to be stronger so we can have some ground to stand on.
@Luc-Ferr also since traveler should have access to the natlan gimmicks, kinda like he has access to the fontaine gimmicks. Traveler could get a gadget of sorts for exploration, every natlan character has some sort of device they use to attack and move with. Traveler shouldn't be an exception to this rule, xilonen could probably make him a weapon with his name or something. But it would certainly make pyro traveler the most unique version of him by far if they do.
It'll also be interesting if this is one of the ways to become "a part of this world" like our Sibling has managed with their records recorded in Irminsul despite still being an Outlander, not that Traveler would lose their Descender Status nor their "Immune to Irminsul Tampering" ability... Like how it's Theorized Zhongli may be an Outlander as he's even older than many think, knows things he normally wouldn't or shouldn't, as well apparently didn't forget Rukkhadevata somewhere which is a massive flag.
If you think about it, this is the first time we see something even remotely celestial in action with the red power sustaining the false sky. Last time was when we actually met the one sustaining it who sent us on our long journey haha!
Actually, not really. Near Irminsul in Sumeru AQ, there are floating exactly the same cubes that Sustainer uses, and unlike the fake sky, these are EXACTLY the same cubes with the same patterns from the beginning of the game.
I agree with your suggestion that Void is the Unknown God. Pulling from Gnosticism, the whole curse of being a demiurge is being unable to shape reality out of natural forms, but instead only cubes and shapes that never appear in true nature.
This just makes me feel even more excited about what will come after Snezhnaya, I just need to know more about everything secret about Teyvat: Celestia, Khaenri'ah, Heavenly Principles, the Shades, what is beyond the False Sky, etc.
I don't think we're travelling to the Abyss with Mavuika in 5.3. That will likely happen after we're done exploring the rest of the tribes at least, if not the whole of Natlan, because that's what it's gonna take for the Traveler to fully realize his Ancient Name.
I've said this in some other videos, but I think this is such an interesting thing to note that I kinda want to see how far it can go: in the original Chinese text it is implied that there's a male Shade among the four shades. Because when Lord of the night mentioned the four shades, she referred to them using the 3rd person plural masculine form of "they", instead of 3rd person plural feminine form, which suggests that at least one male is in the group. Since we know Istaroth and Renova are female, and the Fontaine wind glider referred to the Shade of life as "she", then the Shade of Void is probably male. Which means the Sustainer might not be one of the four shades. Maybe she is THE heavenly principle. Lord of the night also suggested that Shades do not count as heavenly principle after all. They only work for the heavenly principle. Of course there's always the possibility that this is nothing more than a typo. But hoyo did take their time to specify the Shade of Life's gender in an item that most people don't bother to read the description of, so it's hard to imagine they got it wrong here in such an important part of the story.
So you’re saying Istaroth and Renova are female, shade of life is a female, and the fourth shade is a male. If this is true then is there a chance that the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles might be the shade of life? Cuz as you said, the shade of life is a female.
How come in every video theory that i have seen nobody mentions the piece of the unknown relic in the sky that we find in a hole in the ground in Natlan? When i found it and used elemental sight on it, it shows that it has elemental energy through it. I found this piece while exploring when 5.0 came out. If anyone wants to look for it i remember it was SE on the terrain near a Tepetlisaurus digging in the ground. But to activate it you have to do a world quest to uncover it I believe.
