    I have a REALLY dumb question,cause I think I know the answer,but why the feathers in the first place?
    Also what was that twine you used(I've no clue on that lol)

      feathers keep an arrow flying straight by causing even drag. that twine was beeswax string. my grandpa gave it to me over ten years ago.he built saddles for over 30 years and thats what they sewed them with. if it will hold your ass to a 1000 lb animal it will hold feathers to a stick lol a lot of people use it because it looks so much like sinew which is one material natives used quite a bit
