Organizing desk as I'm watching! ;) I have the most perfect desk! Vintage, wood, from a family Greenhouse business that was very successful for decades. I love it. Wonderful video!
Now when someone walks into your house they will immediately see you at your desk right infront of your front door. And the robber will realize that you have command position. They run away!
Hi, thank you for your advise and videos. Greatly appreciated it. I have a question, how can you arrange your desk if you have an L shape desk in a cubicle. Thank you
Any suggestions for an L shaped desk? My desk is also in a weird end of a hallway in the house and unable to be shifted so I can sit in the command position. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Can you help me? Your recommendation to face people coming in works for office set up. What about music producers and music writers? We need our sound systems to backing a wall to absorb the sound, this means that the sound engineer / producer is facing the wall and computer’s back is against the wall. And people who record guitars for me would have to sit next to me so we both see the screen. They can’t sit behind my screen facing me because we won’t be both able to see the screen. What would you recommend in this case? How to position the desk that needs to be against the wall?
Things in Two’s, like 2 small plants, maybe even 2 plants in one pot, paintings showing loving couples, doubles like interlocked designs. I hope this helps.
Hi there. Thank you for the great explanation My office rooms comes with 2 desk, a big desk for work and a small desk (at the right side of the big desk) to place deskstop. I am unable to shift my laptop. Is there anyway to prevent bad fengshui?
This is hwlpful... also ideal... how about non traditional desks shapes? Mine is U shaped with the with one if the U legs facing the door (i guess command position... my office as many are built in, so I cant change the shape or move it around... would love to see vids about cases like this ...
Yes as with all the feng shui tips I can only touch on a few examples. There are exceptions and "it depends" scenarios that require a keener feng shui eye. It is a complex practice but I try to give viewers the basics. When you are stuck in a particular position you can use/position a convex mirror (like a rear view mirror) to help widen your view and see what is coming your way. Here is another video in case you didn't see it th-cam.com/video/f78wd7wF4a8/w-d-xo.html
it is an object that you would place in fame (fire) for me it is a red heart shaped paper weight but it can anything red - even a small desk lamp will do the trick.
The idea is to create a solid foundation for your work and ideas. You could add a blotter to work on. You can also add the earth element to your desk with a plant with earth in it and/or a natural stone(s). Setting the intention to ground your desk.
Good question: It needs a bit more a detailed answer. I have addressed it a couple of times in my Facebook group feel free to join - I do a live Q&A every Thursday. I will add this question to my list. facebook.com/groups/yourfengshuijourney/
I have a question. I am facing NE which is one of my best directions and the view is beautiful but my back is to my door. I work from home and live alone so I don't expect anyone walking in. I can face the door and it's one of my best directions but the view would be my kitchen area. Which way should I sit? Thank you.
In the Feng Shui I practice we do not use "best directions" but look for the command position. The place that puts you in control of your "domain". The idea is to create a secure, supportive and also inspiring setting - If you have been working with the beautiful view in front of you and it is working I would continue to do that. Facing the kitchen may not be the best thing to look at while you work :) I would still consider hanging a Feng shui crystal behind you as I show in my Feng Shui for the office video. That video shows how to adjust for a set ups where you are looking out a window.
Well that might mean you have your back to the main door or opening, in which case you will want to add small rear view mirror that will allow you to see behind you. If you have a cendenza or any piece behind your chair you just want to make to sure that you can pull your chair back comfortably and that you don't feel boxed in.
Do you keep the center empty? I'm at home and am setting up a desk so I can have a PC and monitor, not a laptop. I was expecting to have the monitor in the center and the keyboard in front of it. Should they both be in the career area, instead? What is a good place for the computer itself, alongside or under the desk.
No that would not be functional. The key board is fine. Also it is where you enter the energetic space of the desk so you are naturally bringing your own chi to the career area. Centre can be clear but again in times when you are working away a little productive clutter is a necessity. Clutter is not always a bad thing is can produce great creative results :)
i don't agree with this fang shui method i think it's like astrology or other ways to make money. but the idea of energy and enviroment it's true it's depen more then what you do to feel good ..if you have enough light if you have space to move, if you have objects you like a lot...that's the idea, you need to addapt the orginizing of what make you feel good
Yes, what you have described is the foundation of what my feng shui is about. You choose whether or not you want to use the tools that deal with the transcendental, magical, and unseen energies. That is the beauty of this practice, you choose what you want to do.
Gratitude Morris
Thanks for this Morris it helps!

Hi, thank you for your advise and videos. Greatly appreciated it. I have a question, how can you arrange your desk if you have an L shape desk in a cubicle. Thank you
No one seems to have an answer for that. Very disappointing
Thank you so much !🙏
What would be a great setup for an L shape desk?
Came here with the same question
Same
Hello,
Thanks very hepful. What about 1 laptop with 2 monitors?
I have 2 screens and office supplies, where will that go?
What about when you have two monitors set up with a laptop? It would be in the fire area. Please help!,
Probably would go on the mid-right to lower right diagonally
My desk is facing NW when it is facing the door, isnt that bad.
Any suggestions for an L shaped desk? My desk is also in a weird end of a hallway in the house and unable to be shifted so I can sit in the command position. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
can the plant and the fountain be in the same room instead of the desk itself, since I have a designated room for work space?
Hi,
That was very helpful.
I am glad you found it helpful :)
Can you help me? Your recommendation to face people coming in works for office set up.

his was clear and simple. What would you place in the love sector if you are a single person but would love to be in a relationship?
Things in Two’s, like 2 small plants, maybe even 2 plants in one pot, paintings showing loving couples, doubles like interlocked designs. I hope this helps.
@@naturesgateway many thanks!

Can this be used for study table? Kindly help me
How do I find your video on Feng Shui Color in Your Office?
Mam , is study room a yin room or yang room?
Does this also apply to home office table?

What if I had a glass desk put I cover it?
Excuse me! What is the orange object?
it is an object that you would place in fame (fire) for me it is a red heart shaped paper weight but it can anything red - even a small desk lamp will do the trick.
Oh wow, this so helpful! Thank you!
A question, I really would like to know where I can place my businesscards and notitionbooklet with pencil?
I'm in a command position, but I have a glass desk. It's modern and sleek, but what would you suggest I do to correct this without getting a new desk?
The idea is to create a solid foundation for your work and ideas. You could add a blotter to work on. You can also add the earth element to your desk with a plant with earth in it and/or a natural stone(s). Setting the intention to ground your desk.
Morris Feng Shui thank YOU
Morris Feng Shui I have a short turtle vase with bamboo which is secured in the vase with stones. I need to get the blotter for my desk
Table mats helps.

Thank you :)
what if you have an L shaped desk?
THE question. It shouldn't be that difficult
Note to self: See her other Feng Shui For Your Office video
What if you have a credenza behind your desk and your computer is on it for example?
Well that might mean you have your back to the main door or opening, in which case you will want to add small rear view mirror that will allow you to see behind you. What if the door is on the side of the desk.? That is the door is facing the side of the desk.
Does it matter what the desk s color is?
No
Do you keep the center empty? I'm at home and am setting up a desk so I can have a PC and monitor, not a laptop.

Do you have free similar program ideas anyone?
What if you have a layered desk with shelves.its alil confusing for me.
the bagua you are using is not correct bagua placement should be based upon each persons bagua number, thank you

doesnt help at all when you have various monitors , power sourcves, etc and using a PC, not a small laptop
I think putting a phone in the front of the desk is super unpratical. And having a laptop like that is going to cause neckpain for so many people :(.
