Maybe because your needs bars deplete wayyy too fast. This guys a pro, but me, as an adult trying to replay this game, 3 days in i got frustrated and quit cuz i spent maybe half the game taking care of needs
Awesome run!!! I didn’t even know it was possible to speedrun this game. I just assumed everything was too random, like where and when characters are. But I was surprised to find out that apparently the characters have set times and corresponding locations. It seems like a lot to remember, honestly. Awesome job on this run :-D Super cool. I enjoyed watching.
Might be a bit dated but as a kid who grew up loving the original PC version I actually loved this game. I was a teenager when I had it and I remember my grandmother getting it for me at like Wal mart and just playing it for months, really nice unique little open world with cool missions and locations nice music atmosphere some nice mechanics from the original great under rated game I think it's even better than the ps2 original port.
wow if speedruns were a thing when this came out i would have probably beaten you in this. i forgot how many times ive finished this game. this game is so good, my first sims game
Thank you very much for speedrunning this game! It is one of my favorite childhood game and seeing all the little hidden things like the hidden shop with the skill point fruits surprised me a lot! Also it sounds like you are mashing your controller when repairing something or learning a skill point... Does it help make it faster? Or is it just to occupy your hands? Anyway, thank you again! I loved the video very much!
Glad you enjoyed! Mashing A while leveling up a skill helps the progress bar to move faster, yes. We found that it doesn't help with repairs though, so I don't mash for those anymore.
I had this on gba as a kid an loved it to bits then I got the moped stuck on a wall or something on the beach near that shop kinda ruined the game going back to walking everywhere replaying it as an adult is sick though lol
So much nostalgia watching this!!! Loved this game as a kid!!!
I always wondered how this game ended. I was never able to beat it as a kid for whatever reason lol
