Guys please stop talking about how the food wasn’t authentic enough. It’s not her mistake she lives in the UK It isn’t India or China or Mexico so the food won’t be authentic. That’s just how it is
As an Indian, when she was trying out the staple food of India, and said its unhealthy, I was like, "Gurrrl, thats not how it is" Mostly, the restaurants make even healthy food unhealthy. The food we make at home is healthy, and whats made at restaurants is an unhealthy version of it. Also, here, we add a whole lot more chilli and other spices than any other country. If you were to compare, it would be approximately more than triple, so yeah. Its spicy.
For a person who doesn't drink or smoke, getting high on spicy food is the closest thing you can have. It was cool to watch her let loose and just have a great time

I'm Jamaican and I only eat what family members and highly trusted family friend restaurants make because these other places get it wrong or there's somethin' off about about it.
Yesss my dad cooks all the jamaican food and if we eat from somewhere else and it don't taste good then we won't eat it😭 so we don't ever eat out at Caribbean restaurants😂😂
Sooo true! We’re from St Vincent and we had a massive family gathering at Turtle Bay (Caribbean restaurant in England) with all the aunties, uncles, cousins etc. We were the only Caribbean people there including the staff and I think they were a little taken aback by how loud we all were 😂 The food was good but literally NOTHING like the real thing and the poor staff to endure the wrath of my St Vincent born and bred Nana for serving such a cliché Caribbean experience 😬😂
Angelina Carmen I agree completely that more sizes should be included, like XS and XL etc, us petite people would also love to wear it without looking like a garbage bag 😄
I’m not Mexican but my ex was Mexican-American and I love watching cooking videos by this old lady that lives where he comes from lol so I know a bit more about Mexican cuisine
As a Mexican I kinda understand where the confusion came from. Some of that food is kinda common in Mexican-american fast food restaurants, like the fries with cheese, but in general aren’t typical cultural Mexican dishes. From what I know it’s sometimes eaten in the northern parts of Mexico but either way it’s not very common cultural or typical. I don’t know if I made this comprehensible I don’t quite know how to explain it.
I live in Italy and unfortunately you didn’t receive a good representation of their food 🥴 the crust/base thickness depends on the area of Italy, but’s it’s neverrrr the type you might find at dominoes. They’ll usually have like 3 toppings max, they like to keep it simple! Also is that jalapeño on an Italian pizza??
😂😂😂 That's what I Was thinking! Btw, I also used to live in Italy and now make my channel talking about my experience, You might like it :) I also have a pizza challenge
I agree. I am Italian and that is one of the worst representation of our food. That "pasta".. Eww.. So overcooked and gummy, not to talk about the pizza. Taz, I'd be happy to have you as my guest as soon as I go back to Italy to make you try our best dishes 😍
You should try palak paneer! (Even though I'm Chinese I loveeee Indian food, and my fav is cheese naan, palak paneer, butter chicken and biryani) Sorry if I spell anything wrong
p sure she’s desi... she said she’s asian before and looking at her i assume it’s south asian. she also seemed way more aware about the indian cuisine than the others without any research, so yeah i think she’s familiar with it already haha

All foods are healthy in moderation. Once u start adding all the shit onto it like oil, cheese, butter, ghee, goose fat etc u make it unhealthy u get me!
Hiii im from Mexico, I’m sad you weren’t able to taste traditional food, but i understand the confusion. In case you want to try typical Mexican dishes here are some suggestions: -Flautas -mole -Sopes -Chiles rellenos - Chilaquiles (u really have to try this one) -Tortas -enchiladas -pozole -tamales - ceviche I hope you have a nice day 💕✨
Also I feel like Mexican food is on the hot seat right now, like I’m getting so many recommendations and I just tried Birria tacos!!! And wow they were phenomenal, so much flavor
Chicken Tikka masala was invented in Britain, however it was created by a Bangladeshi chef. So the origins of it is still very much south Asian, except for the location it was created.
Chicken tikka masala is Indian origin bro where are you living? Invented in Britain? 😂😂😂🤷🤷🤷 Chicken tikka masal has existed here since nobody in the world knew...
I don't understand why British people have the audacity to claim everything in the world as theirs like bro chill come on you only have mashed potatoes and watery tea as your original.
The italian dessert that you tried is Sicilian and it’s called “cannolo”. We have it with different fillings like chocolate, custard, pistachios etc. but the one you tried is the classical one: with ricotta, that you don’t like 😂
Beatrice Ladouce hahahaha yeah! She was confused probably ‘cuz the taste is a little different from “normal” ricotta, as the filling is made with a lot of sugar so the ricotta is so much sweeter than usual

Never buy “Mexican” food bc It’s not. Mexican meals that you can do: Breakfast: Huevos Rancheros 1 or 2 eggs 1 or 2 tortillas (same amount that the eggs) Oil Tomatoe Onion and Garlic (1/4 of onion and 1 garlic clove) coul be less onion if don’t liked Salt-Pepper (a pinch) How to do it: 1- On a fry pan put the oil, you’re going to fry the tortilla for boot sides. 2-Once your tortilla is ready, break the egg on the top of the tortilla and wait until is cook (add salt and perpper if you want) La salsa: (is without chile but you can added in case you feel brave; could be a little of jalapeño or habanero) Option 1: Boil the tomatoes and blended whith onion, garlic a little of the boiling water and add salt and pepper. Option 2: Put a little of oil on a fry pan (a different that use with the eggs), chopped the tometoes, the onion and the garlic, add in the pan the garlic and the onion, when they turned in a nice golden/yellow color add the tomatoe (at this part the chile) then add salt and pepper. At the side serve with beans and fresh cheese. Meal: Ceviche: Fish, shrimp or tuna medallion. Types of fish: Corvina or Tilapia. You should clean the shrimp on the inside. Can use fish and shrimp if you want. If use tuna medallion I recommed put squares of magoe too. 4 Limes (could be less or more, your going to need the lime) 1 Cucumber 1 or 2 tomatoes 1/2 Red Onion A little of Coriander Clamato (Tomatoe and Clam juice) sounds wrose but it’s not Avocado Tostadas How to do it: 1-Cut the fish/shrimp/tuna in squares and squezeed the limes let it sit for about 6-10 min until change a little of color, then drain the excess of lime. 2-Cut the tomatoe and the cucumber in little squares. Cut red onion into thin slices. 3-Mix the fish/shrimp/tuna with the vegetabel, the chopped coriander and the Clamato (try it before add salt and pepper) Serve whit avocado slices. DON’T WORRY THIS IS NO RAW BC: the technic of the lime it’s call “Curtir” (is describe as “cooked” with lime juice) Meal/Dinner: Enchiladas: Tortillas (the amount is the number of enchiladas that you gonna have) Chiken (Shredded) Grated Cheese (please don’t buy american) 1 Tomatoe 2 Tomatillo (ask for “tomate verde”) 1/4 Onion 1 Garlic clove Salt and Pepper IN CASE YOU DIDN’T FIND THE TOMATILLO I recommend you use more Tomatoes and Chile How to do it: 1-Boil the tometoes and the tomatillo 2-Blend the tomatoes, tomatillo, the onion, the garlic and the pinch of salt and pepper with a little of the boiling water. 3-Put the chiken inside of the tortilla and roll up forming a cilinder (do it with every tortilla) and put it into a ovenproof. 4-Once you have ready yours enchiladas inside the ovenproof put the salsa on top and add the cheese. 5-Heat them in the microwave or the oven (180Cº=356F) until cheese melt. Serve with avocado. Snack: Buy Tajín, chopped some fruit put lime and Tajín on it. (Could be Mangoe, watermelon, pineapple, Jícama, Guava or almost any one) Don’t put too much Tajín and try it in your hand first.
Congratulations Taz, after being an avid TH-cam watcher for over a decade, you are the first person I've bought merch from. I never bought just because they're usually pretty expensive and I'm not a huge fan if the design although love the person. However I love the simplicity and humor in your merch a lot and have been thinking about purchasing for a while. This tie dye really did it for me though. Finally pulled the trigger and coughed up the coin for it. Still pretty spendy but I'm happy to give my support to someone I love and get something I love out of it. Thank you for keeping us entertained.

That 'chinese food' has nothing do with China, the 'mexican' thing was a mess but u acknowledged it, the italian was somewhat ok but the pizza and pasta didn't look authentic. Can't comment on the Caribbean one since idk enough about it. 😅
It's difficult to get authentic international cuisine outside of those countries, she did the best she could given that she lives in London. Food is adapted to fit the palate of the country it's sold in so they can make a profit.
Only way she could do it is literally fly to all the countries to get it actually "authentic". No food you get outside of its original country is authentic.
I grew up in Hong Kong and Dim Sum are my favourite Chinese food, and it makes me so happy that you enjoyed the prawn dumplings. When everything opens back up and is safe to dine out, you should definitely try Dim Sum at a restaurant that hand-make them. The Dim Sum you get from Chinese take-outs are usually frozen pre-made ones, they are not terrible but the fresh ones you get from restaurants will be 10x better.

Yeah fries with cheese, wtf
Honestly, I don't think authentic Mexican food is widely available in the UK. I can't say for sure because I've never been there though.
Never buy “Mexican” food bc It’s not.
Mexican meals that you can do:
Breakfast: Huevos Rancheros
1 or 2 eggs
1 or 2 tortillas (same amount that the eggs)
Oil
Tomatoe
Onion and Garlic (1/4 of onion and 1 garlic clove) coul be less onion if don’t liked
Salt-Pepper (a pinch)
How to do it:
1- On a fry pan put the oil, you’re going to fry the tortilla for boot sides.
2-Once your tortilla is ready, break the egg on the top of the tortilla and wait until is cook (add salt and perpper if you want)
La salsa: (is without chile but you can added in case you feel brave; could be a little of jalapeño or habanero)
Option 1: Boil the tomatoes and blended whith onion, garlic a little of the boiling water and add salt and pepper.
Meal:
Ceviche:
Fish, shrimp or tuna medallion.
Types of fish: Corvina or Tilapia.
You should clean the shrimp on the inside.
Can use fish and shrimp if you want.
If use tuna medallion I recommed put squares of magoe too.
4 Limes (could be less or more, your going to need the lime)
1 Cucumber
1 or 2 tomatoes
1/2 Red Onion
A little of Coriander
Clamato (Tomatoe and Clam juice) sounds wrose but it’s not
Avocado
Tostadas
How to do it:
1-Cut the fish/shrimp/tuna in squares and squezeed the limes let it sit for about 6-10 min until change a little of color, then drain the excess of lime.
2-Cut the tomatoe and the cucumber in little squares. Cut red onion into thin slices.
3-Mix the fish/shrimp/tuna with the vegetabel, the chopped coriander and the Clamato (try it before add salt and pepper)
Serve whit avocado slices.
DON’T WORRY THIS IS NO RAW BC: the technic of the lime it’s call “Curtir” (is describe as “cooked” with lime juice)
Meal/Dinner:
Enchiladas:
Tortillas (the amount is the number of enchiladas that you gonna have)
Chiken (Shredded)
Grated Cheese (please don’t buy american)
1 Tomatoe
2 Tomatillo (ask for “tomate verde”)
1/4 Onion
1 Garlic clove
Salt and Pepper
IN CASE YOU DIDN’T FIND THE TOMATILLO I recommend you use more Tomatoes and Chile
How to do it:
1-Boil the tometoes and the tomatillo
2-Blend the tomatoes, tomatillo, the onion, the garlic and the pinch of salt and pepper with a little of the boiling water.
Naomi Gerardo that’s a lot of effort u did there. Lol

When everything opens back up and is safe to dine out, you should definitely try Dim Sum at a restaurant that hand-make them. The Dim Sum you get from Chinese take-outs are usually frozen pre-made ones, they are not terrible but the fresh ones you get from restaurants will be 10x better.
