Enjoyed the video. I used to take grandson to the McDonalds when he was younger on the way to Ruidoso or out west to Laughlin, NV. Glad no bad weather over that way. Had 90 mph winds in my area 2 nights ago in western tx. It blew over a lot of big power lines.
The street art next to the McDonalds was my favorite. Something actually happened in Roswell, involving the Soviets. There’s a lot of misinformation and hearsay about it though. There is an episode of NPR’s “Fresh Air” that dug deep into it, and got some answers. That part of eastern N.M. is so flat and boring. You found the one good spot with that little lake. I’m sad that you have trouble with the higher elevations. It’s so much cooler and nicer up high. Thanks for the look around!
Hey John. You and little man doing OK. Once upon a time, had a neighborhood pup, son in law owned him but wouldn’t take care of him, but to late he died at 4 months old. I named him little man way before I heard of you. I think the dog died of a broken heart, anyway that’s my story.. hey, I live in eastern Kentucky 50 miles from the Virginia border.😊
