That’s exciting! You’ll probably just want to relax for the first few weeks, but after that we definitely recommend having some projects you’re passionate about.
Can confirm: When we're traveling, boredom is impossible. Always way more to to see and do then there's time available! 😁 I (Jay) try my best to avoid reading news, but usually fail. 😂 Reading local news in the local language is a great idea though.
We pretty much follow your approach for daily routine: news, phone and email, gym, and get out and about in the PM. We also base our trips around volunteer opportunities, such as professional golf tournaments, community events, govt agencies, environmental group workdays/weeks, etc. We typically stick to English speaking countries or events where English is spoken. It gives us that sense of purpose. We would last less than fours if we just went to the beach and read a book.
Sitting on the beach and relaxing is fantastic, but so important to have other projects going on too. Volunteering is a great way to go. We've been traveling to a lot of Spanish-speaking countries so we can practice the language - we love the challenge and every day, it gets a little easier.
Great video you two! I truly appreciate your transparency. Subscribed and please keep the content coming. Full time banker now but my goal is to trade futures online and live on the road full time. Feel free to send over any information you think would be helpful. Have a great day!
So how do you make money lol I would like to travel full time but money is always an issue. Also your videos are great. Straight forward and great advice! Keep up the great work
Thank you! There are lots of ways to make money while traveling, depending on what you like to do, where you want to travel, and what your skills are. Check out some of the digital nomad groups for ideas. They usually take some time to get into, so be patient.
I bought a Honda Pilot 2023 to travel around with my 2 puppies. May be weekend camping but I never went on camping except once with my fried. How full time travelers support themselves financially anyways. I work full time from home wondering how I can travel full time for some months as I am already in early 60s :(. I am Asian female living in US. Any suggestions pls?
Congrats on your new Pilot! We hope you have some great adventures with it! When we’re traveling in our Pilot, we use lots of libraries and community centres to connect to the internet, plug in our laptops, and do our work.
I just stumbled upon your adventure. Congrats!!!!! This is amazing, looking forward to reading/seeing more!
Thanks!! It’s great to hear from you!
Good to "see" you two! Safe travels!
Nice to “see” you in the comments too!
Wow! Very cool. I love it!
Thanks!
My husband and I are getting ready to take a sabbatical year off starting next month so this give us some ideas.

Exactly! It seems like the longer we spend somewhere, the more there is to see.
