Remember friends, It ain't no use... If it ain't chartreuse!
I'd buy that t-shirt!
Best strike indicator by far. Helps clients SOOOO much.
We agree! Thanks for being here.
As always, thank you very much! Those little buggers have helped me out big time fishing late summer on the Crooked River!!!!
Thanks for watching!
OROS Indicators ARE the BOMB! I am all in!
Thanks for being here. We think so too!!!
The first wild cutthroat in a native cutthroat stream I ever laid eyes on ate my Oros indicator instead of the fly underneath it.
They also work great for spin fishing down deep.
Thanks for being here!
I had a similar thing happen with a big brown and a new Zealand indicator
I like these so much more than those new screw top ones. Cause when you loosen it and try to move it without completely taking the top off. It curls the line
Thanks for being here.
Nice video Brian 🎣👍🎣. As i like two different colours, on my strike indicators. So you don't have to change anything, for fishing in dark water to light water.
Thanks for being here.
Never heard of oros but my Garmin strike casta le fish finder has managed to help me land hundreds of fish throughout the year. I don't always take it with me or use it but when I'm at a questionable new body of water I will bring it to help narrow down locations.
We think this is a much different product? Thanks for watching though.
I love the Oros, their the only indicator I use now.
Thanks for watching.
I need these!!!
We love them. Thanks for being here!
Thanks Brian. I'm sold on Oros indicators. I've found it helpful to use a sharpie to mark the male half of the indicators with small dot. That way, I know to always twist the female side when adjusting position or removing the indicator which keeps the post stationary and doesn't twist my leader.
Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing!
Got to say they look excellent !
Thanks for watching.
I use it just to put on my leader or line when storing the reel so the line doesn't get tangled...
We do too. Perfect use for these!
Great video as always! I’ll be getting a few of these myself.
Check out the new click pawl reel design Orvis came out with! They are something else! Certainly going to pick up a few for my collection and use!
Thanks for being here!
Might have to try these out. I currently use the small Orvis corQs which I love. But they are hard to come by here in the UK.
We'd be happy to send you some! Thanks for watching.
Any idea if the smaller one would work as an 'indicator' for very small dry flies?
I know it wouldn't be an indicator in that us but I've used the small foam things to spot a fly that's very small but they are pain and some wasteful if these would work instead.
Please contact Brian or the folks at the shop directly and they will be happy to help. You can e-mail or call. Thanks!
Good lookin bobber
They certainly are! Thanks for watching.
I still find they slide a lot. They are great but you have to crank them down.
If applied properly they should not slide! Thanks for watching.
Haha, it's my absolute favorite strike indicator until a fish comes up and takes it. They need a hook on them!
Thanks for watching. Can be done!
@@Madriveroutfitters tell me more. 🤤 Is there a video of this? Many thanks!
BUTTER BALLS!
Very much so!
Clear Thingamabobber>
Thanks for being here! We're a big fan of the Thingamabobbers too
@@Madriveroutfitters Oros is great for deeper, big water off a boat. living here in colorado, majority of my fishing is technical tailwater, and the oros is just a bit heavy and causes too much of a splash, compared to the thingamabobber.
Who would have thunk lol 😂.
Thanks for watching.
Put a happy face on them. lol
Proven to catch more fish!
Love them.
Pretty popular items!
The white ones look like Swiss Miss marshmallows!
Thinking you're on to something here... Thanks for watching!
perfect for fishing in muddy water xD
Bought a few of these (XS pink) and found them incredibly useful in our casting classes for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Program vets new to the sport here in Johnson City TN. Perfect weight and size are needed to produce just the right amount of air resistance and learn the feel of the line and leader as it turns over. Picking up 2 more 3-packs from the store as we speak. Really grateful for the MRO shop's support of our Program!
Thanks for being here.....and thanks right back for the support! We appreciate you all!
I got some of the smalls the day they came out. They're by far my favorite color. I was using the red and white ones but sometimes I can't see the wite side mixed in with the foam on the water. My only gripe with these is they make one side the male and one the female and they're always the same. So in the case I'd want to mix colors together certain combinations aren't possible because both colors are the male side, if that makes sense. Aside from that these are by far the best indicators I've ever used and I hope they keep comming out with different color combos. It'd be neat to see some kind of pattern printed on them just for some extra being.
Thanks for being here! We’re big fans of them too.
If you get the solid colors ones both the male and female sides are the same color? So if you get solid red, solid white, and solid chartreuse in whatever quantity you need you can mix and match to your hearts desire
@@N2theBlue1 obviously but I don't have all the colors kinda sucks to have to buy every color to mix whatever combo you want. Still can't figure a way to run an all red either.
Why don’t you just by solid orange ones then?
That extra small indicator is going to get slammed by trout. They already try to eat the next two sizes up all the time. Need to find a way to put a hook on it.
Looks like powerbait?
@@Madriveroutfitters looks like a floating egg to the trout would be my bet. It is about the size of a glow bug after all.
Look at Fario Fly UK they do barbless and barbed.
👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks for being here.
These are definitely my favorite indicator. Especially when fishing for steelhead.
We agree....and agree. Thanks for watching.
What type of leader or line should I use to fish for bluegill or other fish. We don’t have many trout here. I got 6x and it keeps breaking off on my bug just from practicing my cast lol. But I have no clue what brand or what size line to get
Thanks for watching. Please send any and all questions directly to Brian or the folks at the shop. You can e-mail them or call them and they are always happy to help. That's what they do!

So are they really worth the cost ?
We would think…..since he took the time to make a video? Three of them to be exact.
you betcha!
