I never understood how a car about the same size as a Camaro ends up transforming to be as tall or almost as tall as Optimus prime who turns in to a gigantic semi truck and I totally agree with you about making them look alien all those people who complained about aliens looking like aliens are just stupid

I'm sorry guys, but this is my favorite thing about the Bayformers era transformers. I LOVE the super integral and detailed transformations that make them into puzzles in a way, its the most fun I've had playing and working on figures in years, especially the MP bayformer Bumblebee. They look great, have a brilliant transformation about them, and have this majesty to them.
I grew up on the Beast Wars, and the horrid used toy bin at the Salvation Army was where i got my transformers toys, so everything was often missing bits and pieces.
Then I grew up, and experienced the Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime, and it blew me away.
Rambling, but Paul, man. You doing these reviews is one of those pleasures in life that I'm glad I get to enjoy.
The many different parts definitely sold me on the realism in the movies too!!

Quite an amazing non-official Transformer! It's really incredible what they can do these days with the right know-how and create something like this, very impressive and surprising how easy it is to change from robot to vehicle mode!

No reviews are perfect. Peru Kill always get a feature or other forgotten. You either forgot or didn't know about two bits. The hook can be stored by being plugged in on the side of the gun, and the gun can be mounted on top of the car.
At least, you got the WHOLE transformation perfectly. Too many reviewers don't know about the bits to secure the arms or the bonus panels to fill in gaps.

In the movie the dogs were about 6-7 feet tall
Then when they attacked the people on the cords they were 3 feet tall

This is just a spectacular 3rd party figure! The engineering, the accuracy, the detail, and the proportion in robot mode is great. Nice review Paul.
Yeah, I also prefer the alien look for Transformers (they're alien robots after all)
I kinda felt like Bay made them more "human" as a slight back hand to the fans that complained, like "oh you want them more human? Well here look how ugly they'll look if they were"
Javier Nicolas Bustamante Correa I know I’m gonna get hate for saying this, but maybe it’s because by the time the movies got to 4, the transformers were already “living” on earth, so when changing to different cars, they, without knowing, started to look more human. Just IMO* to cover for the fact that they wanted to make the transformers look more like the cartoons.

The more human look in the transformers is because critics said it was hard to relate to them
When I saw the thumbnail, I didn’t think this could transform. There was just too much detail for it to transform.. then I saw the vehicle mode and I was shocked 🤩

Your video has convinced me to actually go and save up to buy a Lockdown. I been looking for a good Lockdown toy that had massive details and you sure made a damn good video on the toy as well as a detailed tutorial on how to make him transform.

That is so impressive considering the amout of detail and the way it transform.
The side mirrors when on the feet should point outwards with the mirror side facing down so it becomes his toes of some sort.
If they can achieve this level of accuracy with the transformation engineering I bet they could pull off a screen accurate Bumblebee for instance, retaining all the details, including fully fleshed seats to put Sam behind the wheel. That would be a real Masterpiece like this one.
Can't wait to see it in your super HD quality! Also, I haven't seen anyone go back to vehicle from robot mode!

Lockdown was much smaller than Optimus. But he was taller than Ratchet.

I very rarely buy 3p Transformers. But when I do, I buy a MASTERPIECE among masterpieces like Peru Kill. Seriously, best 200$CAN even spent on any figure. The proportions are fantastic, it's impossibly screen accurate and the engineering is pure MADNESS. The final thing that make Peru Kill the ultimate 3p Movie figure to date is... he's EASY and INTUITIVE to transform! What sorcery is this? HASTAK MPM line should take notes. Also, I'm waiting for their Knight Optimus with anticipation.

Tanner Creations it's kind of not a mess up, as they're alternate universes. Grimlock was a construction vehicle once.

I think the gunface actually looked pretty cool in the movie because the gun was simply the barrel and it wasn’t as over the top as it was in the toy. I can understand why it was so big and crazy for the toy, after all they had to fit the head in it. However, in the movie only the barrel comes out of the face instead of transforming his whole head and more into a giant cannon. Overall, at least it looks cool in the movie.
