The way you blended the fur into her skin is so expertly done, and that tiny detail just makes this so absolutely amazing. She looks so light and natural, and the the body mods _fit_ in a way that's really hard to capture. It's utterly gorgeous.

Those are fantastic legs for your first time making them! The end result was very well-balanced between realistic and artistic rendering! Edit: Wow I absolutely love the eyeshadow idea! And there was a part where the shadow hit the face and the eyes just glowed! I love how you shadow and highlight eyes, I almost thought you used glow in the dark paint!

Honestly, thank you. I’ve been meaning to create my doll, a fawn girl, and I’ve found a bunch of things in this video help me out a ton! Not gonna lie, this is my first doll, and I might be getting quite a bit ambitious with her for my first one, but I’m willing to take the risk. The only difference is that she will be brown, and I’m planning on making her limbs fully articulated!
Tbh I'd say you should make a practice doll at first so you'll get used to the techniques a bit. Then you could give a try at the actual, serious project. Just an advice though, but I've found out it works better to make a practice project beforehand for myself

So pretty! I don’t really think her legs had to have two joints anyway, this bowed shaped gives her more realism (if you wanna consider fawns realistic 😅)
Realistic faun legs are just elongated feet bones, so the backwards knee is actually a heel, then the real knee would be a lot higher up. Fauns would be essentially walking on their toe nails, like horses. So there probably would be two joints in the leg, but they wouldn’t be that close together. Or something I’m just theoretically saying these things
She’s absolutely gorgeous. I love the amount of detail in her eyes, they look so realistic. Also I haven’t seen that fur technique like that and it looks really good.

I like the idea of this doll as a magic user. Maybe she’s a sage or something and her companion doll (the other faun) is her traveling companion who is a scribe and writes of their travels. Or maybe it’s vice verse.

Definitely worth all the work! I really love it that you go through your styling - styling a doll's hair is definitely one of the hardest part for me, haha. You'd think that would be the easiest way to make a doll look personal and special even without actually touching the doll too much, but I never seem to figure out how to do it. JEEZUS the details on her eyes. I'd love to see you put an actual persons face on a doll. That would be epic. Also, looking at the pics you took at the end, black sclera eyes wouldve been really pretty. Especially with that vibrant blue iris you gave her. It wouldve added to the mysticism of the doll. I am so glad to know that I'm not the only one that turns old dolls into something new I do that constantly I absolutely love creating something new out of something old it is so satisfying to do that and then when it's finished it is absolutely gratifying to do that I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that does that still and I love the Fawn I wish I had the patience to do the fur like you do but I'm afraid I don't

JEEZUS the details on her eyes. I'd love to see you put an actual persons face on a doll. That would be epic. Also, looking at the pics you took at the end, black sclera eyes wouldve been really pretty. Especially with that vibrant blue iris you gave her. It wouldve added to the mysticism of the doll. Either way, very beautiful.
