Hey Shaun. Like I said in the video I love the Terminator franchise and I have no complaints with any of the movies. Yes none of them live up to the original two James Cameron movies but I still had fun with them. I still haven't gotten around to checking out the Sarah Connor Chronicles and I really should because I've heard great things about it. Such a shame that it ended in cliffhanger. How many TV series have I seen that have done that and we never found out what happened next
Gorgeous steel books Kieth! Honestly, I have a size 13 shoe size that might put that empty box to use! Lol Seriously love the artwork. I always felt that Emilia Clarke was an odd choice but I’m not gonna lie, I would take her out to dinner:) I loved her in her romantic comedies like “Last Christmas” with Michelle Yeoh, and “Me before you” with Sam Claflin. “Game of Thrones” was her iconic role as the “Mother of Dragons” but Terminator? Well, that’s a tough call, I mean I get it but that’s what we got. I agree with the idea that a spin-off trilogy of this back story would have been a fantastic journey of films to enjoy. Thanks for sharing Kieth. Im super impressed with both these editions inside this massive box. The audio in the kitchen didn’t really bother me so much because in my experience some of the best conversations always happen in the Kitchen, over a pint. Cheers! 🍻
Wow there is so much in this comment that I massively agree with particularly when it comes to great conversations in the kitchen with a pint. I know I was a bit harsh on Emilia Clarke when it comes to The Casting of this movie but I can't stress how happy I was to hear how much you enjoyed her in Last Christmas and Me Before You. I don't say it near as much as I should but I am a huge fan of romantic comedies and Last Christmas in particular is absolutely phenomenal. My god the ending of that movie gets me every time and she is so unbelievably fantastic in it. Thank you so much for letting me know about the audio as well. I won't be using that room all the time but it's handy when it comes to showing massive releases like this.

Nice1 Keith. That box is ridiculously over-sized for sure 😁but at least the artwork is decent. I really like that steelbook...both the the front and back images are superb...I wouldn't have minded getting a look at the inner artwork of that (behind the discs). I thought that maybe one of the steelbooks has the 3D Blu-ray and the other has the 2D Blu-ray because I thought I saw "Blu-ray" and "DVD" on the spines ?...so in the one you opened up I suspect that the disc behind the 3D Blu-ray might be a DVD ? I could be wrong ofc ! Audio of your unboxing in the other room sounded very good to me...I wouldn't call it an echo but it definitely has a slightly different timbre to your regular audio which is no bad thing...the "new auido" has a sort of "focussed/lab" quality to it which compliments the "now we're unboxing" whereas your normal audio has a more relaxed quality to it which fits better with your always cheerful introduction and closing...I enjoyed the contrast 👍 As to the movie, I thought it was pretty mediocre myself and I agree that Emilia Clarke was not a good fit for Sarah Connor and Jai Courtney was not a good fit for Kyle Reece. For me, T1 and T2 are absolute classics, T3 is not of the same quality and is incredibly silly in a couple of places...but it grew on me ;-) I think it's a decent pop-corn flick and I really liked the ending. T4 (this one, Genisys) and T5 (Salvation) were "mediocre" imo. I haven't seen (and don't intend to see) "Dark Fate". The TV series "Sarah Connor Chronicles" was really good though...interesting that Sarah Connor in that was played by Lena Heady who, like Emilia, became a big name off of Game of Thrones.
I sometimes keep forgetting to show the artwork behind the discs on my videos. I should really remedy that. The first Steelbook has 3D, Blu-ray and a bonus disc where the other Steelbook has the 4K disc. I didn't bother showing it because it's the exact same Steelbook. A huge thank you for letting me know about the audio. I think the lighting does look a lot better and it's useful whenever I have to show off big releases like this one. I take the movie for what it is which is a fun popcorn ride. None of the Terminator movies came remotely close to the original two and to be honest it's never going to happen. I enjoyed terminator 3 even though as you said it has its silly moments. I thought the ending to it was brilliant and it's set up salvation quite nicely. Dark fate is not a bad movie either and I recommend checking it out just so you can say you've seen it. But don't expect too much.
@@millerman9991 Ah, 3D Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray...the best of both worlds ! I wish my OLED supported 3D...I think with today's level of OLED tech combined with the larger screen sizes (I have a big one 😉) would make the 3D experience MUCH better than on TVs from 7-10+ years ago and I would love to have that option. I appreciate the recommendation rgds. "Dark Fate" but I'll have to decline...I wasn't impressed with some of the things I saw in the trailer but more importantly I know how the opening 10mins go...and that storyline completely invalidates T2 so it's not going to happen 😉
Yeah it's a shame you can't get a 3D OLED television. I would love to have seen what It would look like. I have an old Samsung SUHD 3D TV and the 3D is absolutely amazing on it. I'm hoping it will last for a while. I had a funny feeling you were going to mention John Connor at the start of dark fate. You might find this strange but I didn't really care because I actually hate his character in T2. I know it's wrong to say anything bad when it comes to T2 but there's something about Edward Furlong that drives me mad in that movie
@@millerman9991 "wrong to say anything bad when it comes to T2" LOL, speak freely and truthfully my man ! 😉but I know what you mean...on both counts 😉 (1) Criticising an aspect of a movie that many regard as "perfect" can sometimes be met with disbelief and hostility...but hey, we're all friends here 😉and opinions on movies, characters, actors and performances etc. are highly subjective...that's where a lot of the "fun" in discussing a movie comes from 😉 (2) You're right...Edward Furlong is dislikeable 😉, he can come across as an annoying little brat even before he utters a single word...however in this case it doesn't bother me (I guess because everything else about the movie is more than enough to completely over-shadow it). I have a similar experience with "Temple of Doom" and Kate Capshaw...she has that "annoying quality" which really bothers a lot of people...but again, everything else about the movie is soooooo good and (in Kate's case) her character is meant to be "spoilt and annoying"...it really doesn't bother me. On the other hand...someone like Phoebe Waller-Bridge I find totally insufferable and I don't think I could ever enjoy any movie or TV show that she's in (I've tried). My problem with "Dark Fate" (one of them...) is not that it's removing a character or actor that I really liked (or didn't) it's the fact that it's removing the entire point of Terminator 1 and Terminator 2 ! If they'd made a bad terminator movie then that would be fine...I'd still give it a go...but a movie that deliberately invalidates what happened in the first two (vastly superior) movies ? Not for me...I already learnt my lesson with "The Last Jedi" and "Solo" 😉

I didn't mind the audio in that other room at all pal. Small bit of an echo but nothing too distracting. I hope we some day get a deluxe 4K release of the original Terminator.

Pre-ordered this when it was first announced took over a year to arrive. Absolutely love it, if you get the John Wick Maniacs Edition, that comes in the same size box, comes with mug, poster, diary and coin. The video lighting was perfect, sound didn't bother me at all.
I have seen the John wick Edition and I think I will have to get it at a far cheaper price than what they are asking for at the moment. The Terminator release in this video I got it for less than 90 euro believe it or not and I think I would like to try and get the John wick for something similar. Hey Keith you're right about the atmos track, there's a few scenes from it on the atmos test discs. It had a good idea with a t-1000 early in the film but I was definitely mixed on it. You mentioned Jason Clarke, he was quite good in oppenheimer. The box art is really cool and wow is it as big as some of your busts? I can definitely tell you loved playing with that lenticular Keith. Little bit of echo in the kitchen but probably more noticeable on headphones than speakers. Lighting is good in there.

As for this edition yes the box is quite big and I presume your expecting to see some sort of figure when I opened it but not the case. Nothing but empty space. Hey Keith, that’s one hell of a big box I thought you were gonna open it up and pull out a pair of terminator tennis shoes🙂 but other than that the steel books are absolutely gorgeous. I have to admit this is the only terminator movie I haven’t seen for whatever reason when it came out, I thought Amelia Clark was miscast myself but that’s not why I didn’t see it I just didn’t. Did you know that Amelia is not the only star from Game of Thrones who played Sarah Connor? Queen Cersei (lena Headley) Played Sarah in the Terminator:the Sarah Conor Chronicle TV series a couple years before Game of Thrones she was really good in it. Maybe they should’ve cast her in Terminator Genisys have a great one as always.👍
Hey John. I still might use this box to hold some of my shoes in the future. I've never seen anything as ridiculous in terms of size when it comes to a 4K release. Like I said in the video I enjoyed the movie for what it is and I honestly think you should give it a go sometime in the future just so you can say you've seen it. I never seen the Sarah Conor Chronicles but going by the comment section on this video I really should because it sounds fantastic. I'm not sure why I didn't bother given it a go when it first released.
Cracking set. I'm not sure I'd ever call Genisys a good movie, but it is a fun one. I generally enjoy everything after 2 aside from maybe Rise Of The Machines. I even think the Sarah Connor Chronicles was pretty interesting.

I remember thinking the exact same thing myself when the trailers dropped for this movie. It would have been a nice surprise. They obviously thought it was going to be a great selling point letting the audience know John Connor was going to be the villain. This release is several years old. I owned a copy but threw the box away after I put it in storage and it got scuffed. Tell you the truth, I don't miss it. The film, while not as bad as it is made out to be, does not deserve such treatment. FilmArena got carried away with this big time. I threw the coin away as well. No use for it. The steelbooks themselves are beautiful.
No question about it that filmarena went completely overboard with this release. I still find it to be a beautiful Edition but my god it takes up so much space in my collection and I don't think I will be buying any more of these in the future. The Steelbooks are beautiful especially with the linticulars on. You never know maybe sometime in the future I might pick up the filmarena releases of the original Terminator and Terminator 3 and make my own custom version. Might not be a bad idea. Hey Keith, it´s only DTS-HD MA, no Dolby Atmos track is available for Terminator Salvation. But the DTS-HD MA sound is absolutely stunning, if not reference! It´s a pity, that the 4K release does not feature the director´s cut. The most ridiculous box set I have ever come across was the release of the Color Out of Space Ultimate Edition or The Batman Special Collector´s Edition. Not to forget this Top Gun Superfan Edition which was I think one of the biggest jokes ever! 😳
I think I got my audios mixed up because I was watching dark fate back to back with this movie. Still taking nothing away from the audio which sounds absolutely remarkable. I have to admit I think the color out of space ultimate edition it's probably one of the best Editions I've ever bought especially when you consider how much I got it for. Top Gun on the other hand was absolutely ridiculous. I actually left mine back.
No still haven't picked up the white gloves as of yet. I'm not sure whats stopping me. This is another release I picked up from eBay. I got it for such an incredibly cheap price as well. Patience pays off

Salvation just didn't make any sense, in the previous 3 movies they show that the machines destroyed all cities and resources for human survival... In Salvation people have military bases in the open air with tons of arsenal, choppers, planes and harvest fields...the machines never found and destroyed those bases and locations to prevent human rebellion? Salvation missed the point of the Future War Cameron teased in the first two films
The way I seen it I think Mac G was building towards that future war. I think if we got the trilogy we were meant to get by the third movie I think it would have started to look like what James Cameron showed in his movies. But that's just my interpretation of it
@@millerman9991 probably, but we were all hyped for a terminator movie set in the future war the way Cameron depicted it: human settlements living underground, using archaic tech weapons so that they are untraceable to the machines, using dogs to detect who is human or a cyborg, scavenging tech from fallen robots, etc. Salvation was just a road trip movie focusing Sam Worthington the entire time while he walks around and stumbles across Kyle Reese throwing the old movies one liners here and there: "come with me if you want to live", "I'll be back", literally nothing happens in the movie... nothing from the future war we see in the first films flashbacks, it was a waste of time and opportunity
A stunning box but as you said luckily they have scaled down. 😅 I personally also enjoyed Genisys and Salvation, more than Dark Fate. As for the cast, Jason Clark did a ok performance (much better in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Emilia Clarke mediocre and as for Jai Courtney could not care less about the character, same in A Good Day to Die Hard. His best performance is when he gets his a** kicked in Jack Reacher. 😂 Nothing wrong with the unboxing in the other room Keith, some echo but not distracting, the lighting was good. When I saw the box, I thought inside was a bust of the T800 or T3000 or even better Emilia Clarke bust 😮. I managed to get a Steelbook from HMV ages ago for a £10. They tried to do something different to move the story along as T2 was Cameron saying I am done with it. Can imagine the meeting for casting. We need somebody who is well known to play Sarah Connor who isn't afraid to appear naked to get the adolescents in. Did anybody see Game of Thrones last night that Emilia Clarke got a great rack. I remember James Cameron trying to promote this movie. It was so blatantly false and I couldn't believe a word he was saying. But I did enjoy the movie as I did with any Terminator movie. Just because they don't live up to the original two doesn't mean you can't enjoy them. I have absolutely nothing against Emilia Clarke but she was horribly miss cast in this one. She just doesn't have the present that Linda Hamilton had from the second movie. I think the movie was a missed opportunity in the end and it's a shame we never get to see where they were going to take it
Regards miscasting of Emilia Clarke the film was directed by Alan Taylor who had amongst other things (including the not so good Thor Dark World) directed quite a few episodes of Game of Thrones
I never thought to check out Alan Taylor's filmography. Well that explains why Emilia Clarke was in this movie. I have to admit Thor the Dark World is probably my least favorite Marvel movie.

The company behind salvation put everything they had into the movie and video games, toys etc so when the film bombed they had to sell the rights. Alan Taylor who directed this and thor the dark world had obviously worked with emilia on game of thrones but agreed the casting of the leads was wrong but it would’ve been interesting to see some of the other choices
I knew Alan Taylor directed the second Thor movie but I honestly didn't realize he directed a lot of episodes of Game of Thrones. So that explains why Emilia Clarke was cast as Sarah Connor. Just like yourself I would have been interested to see some of the other choices. I'm not one of these people who thinks that only Linda Hamilton can play Sarah Connor but I really do think they could do better than what they've done in this movie. It's a shame
I don't like Genysis I only care for the 1st 3 films especially T1 and T3. That is a very cool set though that has some awesome things inside it nice pickup.

Honestly I have nothing good to say about him. I think I seen him in four movies and I couldn't stand him in any of them. I'm actually trying to erase that Die Hard movie out of my memory bank. Unsuccessfully unfortunately
I love Salvation. I definitely wish they had of continued down that route. I own one Hot Toys fig, and its of Christian Bale as John Connor. Such a stunning fig, with so many little extras. My biggest gripe with Genisys is Matt Smith. He's a terrible actor, and not believable as a bad guy. Other than that it was still an entertaining movie. Even if we did get a poor mans Sarah Connor/Kyle Reese and T-1000. Not quite the Wish version, but more TK-Max haha
When you mentioned Matt Smith I was very confused and I had to think for a minute then I realized who he was in the movie. If I remember correctly he was in morbius which I thought he was terrible in.
@@millerman9991 😂😂 I really liked Morbius, but again Matt Smith was the worst part of the movie. He is badly cast in these roles. Wasn't a fan of him as Dr Who, but I was happy to skip that whole period of the show 😂

Nice edition. I think the film is by far the worst of the franchise. It’s the only 1 (Apart from the original obviously) which I don’t own in 4k. Even though it will complete the set, I just can’t bring myself to do it 😅

I think Terminator Dark Fate done something quite similar. Trying to break the timeline and it never seems to work. I take it for what it is a fun popcorn sci-fi movie.
I dunno, I can have fun with this and Dark Fate as spectacle action movies. I'd certainly watch these over 3 which is probably the most average of the series. That felt like a TV movie.

Hey Shaun. Like I said in the video I love the Terminator franchise and I have no complaints with any of the movies. Yes none of them live up to the original two James Cameron movies but I still had fun with them. I still haven't gotten around to checking out the Sarah Connor Chronicles and I really should because I've heard great things about it. Such a shame that it ended in cliffhanger. How many TV series have I seen that have done that and we never found out what happened next

I loved her in her romantic comedies like “Last Christmas” with Michelle Yeoh, and “Me before you” with Sam Claflin. “Game of Thrones” was her iconic role as the “Mother of Dragons” but Terminator? Well, that’s a tough call, I mean I get it but that’s what we got.
I agree with the idea that a spin-off trilogy of this back story would have been a fantastic journey of films to enjoy. Thanks for sharing Kieth. Im super impressed with both these editions inside this massive box.

I know I was a bit harsh on Emilia Clarke when it comes to The Casting of this movie but I can't stress how happy I was to hear how much you enjoyed her in Last Christmas and Me Before You. I don't say it near as much as I should but I am a huge fan of romantic comedies and Last Christmas in particular is absolutely phenomenal. My god the ending of that movie gets me every time and she is so unbelievably fantastic in it.

Nice1 Keith. That box is ridiculously over-sized for sure 😁but at least the artwork is decent. I really like that steelbook...both the the front and back images are superb...I wouldn't have minded getting a look at the inner artwork of that (behind the discs). I thought that maybe one of the steelbooks has the 3D Blu-ray and the other has the 2D Blu-ray because I thought I saw "Blu-ray" and "DVD" on the spines ?...so in the one you opened up I suspect that the disc behind the 3D Blu-ray might be a DVD ? I could be wrong ofc !
Audio of your unboxing in the other room sounded very good to me...I wouldn't call it an echo but it definitely has a slightly different timbre to your regular audio which is no bad thing...the "new auido" has a sort of "focussed/lab" quality to it which compliments the "now we're unboxing" whereas your normal audio has a more relaxed quality to it which fits better with your always cheerful introduction and closing...I enjoyed the contrast 👍
As to the movie, I thought it was pretty mediocre myself and I agree that Emilia Clarke was not a good fit for Sarah Connor and Jai Courtney was not a good fit for Kyle Reece. For me, T1 and T2 are absolute classics, T3 is not of the same quality and is incredibly silly in a couple of places...but it grew on me ;-) I think it's a decent pop-corn flick and I really liked the ending. T4 (this one, Genisys) and T5 (Salvation) were "mediocre" imo. I haven't seen (and don't intend to see) "Dark Fate". The TV series "Sarah Connor Chronicles" was really good though...interesting that Sarah Connor in that was played by Lena Heady who, like Emilia, became a big name off of Game of Thrones.
I sometimes keep forgetting to show the artwork behind the discs on my videos. I should really remedy that. The first Steelbook has 3D, Blu-ray and a bonus disc where the other Steelbook has the 4K disc. I didn't bother showing it because it's the exact same Steelbook.
A huge thank you for letting me know about the audio. I think the lighting does look a lot better and it's useful whenever I have to show off big releases like this one.
I take the movie for what it is which is a fun popcorn ride. None of the Terminator movies came remotely close to the original two and to be honest it's never going to happen. I enjoyed terminator 3 even though as you said it has its silly moments. I thought the ending to it was brilliant and it's set up salvation quite nicely. Dark fate is not a bad movie either and I recommend checking it out just so you can say you've seen it. But don't expect too much.
@@millerman9991 Ah, 3D Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray...the best of both worlds ! I wish my OLED supported 3D...I think with today's level of OLED tech combined with the larger screen sizes (I have a big one 😉) would make the 3D experience MUCH better than on TVs from 7-10+ years ago and I would love to have that option.
I appreciate the recommendation rgds. "Dark Fate" but I'll have to decline...I wasn't impressed with some of the things I saw in the trailer but more importantly I know how the opening 10mins go...and that storyline completely invalidates T2 so it's not going to happen 😉
Yeah it's a shame you can't get a 3D OLED television. I would love to have seen what It would look like. I have an old Samsung SUHD 3D TV and the 3D is absolutely amazing on it. I'm hoping it will last for a while.
I had a funny feeling you were going to mention John Connor at the start of dark fate. You might find this strange but I didn't really care because I actually hate his character in T2. I know it's wrong to say anything bad when it comes to T2 but there's something about Edward Furlong that drives me mad in that movie

(1) Criticising an aspect of a movie that many regard as "perfect" can sometimes be met with disbelief and hostility...but hey, we're all friends here 😉and opinions on movies, characters, actors and performances etc. are highly subjective...that's where a lot of the "fun" in discussing a movie comes from 😉
(2) You're right...Edward Furlong is dislikeable 😉, he can come across as an annoying little brat even before he utters a single word...however in this case it doesn't bother me (I guess because everything else about the movie is more than enough to completely over-shadow it). I have a similar experience with "Temple of Doom" and Kate Capshaw...she has that "annoying quality" which really bothers a lot of people...but again, everything else about the movie is soooooo good and (in Kate's case) her character is meant to be "spoilt and annoying"...it really doesn't bother me. On the other hand...someone like Phoebe Waller-Bridge I find totally insufferable and I don't think I could ever enjoy any movie or TV show that she's in (I've tried).
My problem with "Dark Fate" (one of them...) is not that it's removing a character or actor that I really liked (or didn't) it's the fact that it's removing the entire point of Terminator 1 and Terminator 2 ! If they'd made a bad terminator movie then that would be fine...I'd still give it a go...but a movie that deliberately invalidates what happened in the first two (vastly superior) movies ? Not for me...I already learnt my lesson with "The Last Jedi" and "Solo" 😉

Pre-ordered this when it was first announced took over a year to arrive. Absolutely love it, if you get the John Wick Maniacs Edition, that comes in the same size box, comes with mug, poster, diary and coin. The video lighting was perfect, sound didn't bother me at all.
I have seen the John wick Edition and I think I will have to get it at a far cheaper price than what they are asking for at the moment. Hey Keith you're right about the atmos track, there's a few scenes from it on the atmos test discs. It had a good idea with a t-1000 early in the film but I was definitely mixed on it. You mentioned Jason Clarke, he was quite good in oppenheimer. The box art is really cool and wow is it as big as some of your busts? I can definitely tell you loved playing with that lenticular Keith. Little bit of echo in the kitchen but probably more noticeable on headphones than speakers. Lighting is good in there.

As for this edition yes the box is quite big and I presume your expecting to see some sort of figure when I opened it but not the case. Nothing but empty space. Hey Keith, that’s one hell of a big box I thought you were gonna open it up and pull out a pair of terminator tennis shoes🙂 but other than that the steel books are absolutely gorgeous. I have to admit this is the only terminator movie I haven’t seen for whatever reason when it came out, I thought Amelia Clark was miscast myself but that’s not why I didn’t see it I just didn’t. Did you know that Amelia is not the only star from Game of Thrones who played Sarah Connor? Queen Cersei (lena Headley) Played Sarah in the Terminator:the Sarah Conor Chronicle TV series a couple years before Game of Thrones she was really good in it. Maybe they should’ve cast her in Terminator Genisys have a great one as always.👍

Like I said in the video I enjoyed the movie for what it is and I honestly think you should give it a go sometime in the future just so you can say you've seen it. They obviously thought it was going to be a great selling point letting the audience know John Connor was going to be the villain. This release is several years old. I owned a copy but threw the box away after I put it in storage and it got scuffed. Tell you the truth, I don't miss it. The film, while not as bad as it is made out to be, does not deserve such treatment. FilmArena got carried away with this big time. I threw the coin away as well. No use for it. The steelbooks themselves are beautiful.
No question about it that filmarena went completely overboard with this release. I still find it to be a beautiful Edition but my god it takes up so much space in my collection and I don't think I will be buying any more of these in the future. The Steelbooks are beautiful especially with the linticulars on. You never know maybe sometime in the future I might pick up the filmarena releases of the original Terminator and Terminator 3 and make my own custom version. Might not be a bad idea. Hey Keith, it´s only DTS-HD MA, no Dolby Atmos track is available for Terminator Salvation. But the DTS-HD MA sound is absolutely stunning, if not reference! It´s a pity, that the 4K release does not feature the director´s cut. The most ridiculous box set I have ever come across was the release of the Color Out of Space Ultimate Edition or The Batman Special Collector´s Edition. Not to forget this Top Gun Superfan Edition which was I think one of the biggest jokes ever! 😳
I think I got my audios mixed up because I was watching dark fate back to back with this movie. Still taking nothing away from the audio which sounds absolutely remarkable. I have to admit I think the color out of space ultimate edition it's probably one of the best Editions I've ever bought especially when you consider how much I got it for. Top Gun on the other hand was absolutely ridiculous. I actually left mine back.

Salvation just didn't make any sense, in the previous 3 movies they show that the machines destroyed all cities and resources for human survival... In Salvation people have military bases in the open air with tons of arsenal, choppers, planes and harvest fields...the machines never found and destroyed those bases and locations to prevent human rebellion? Salvation missed the point of the Future War Cameron teased in the first two films
The way I seen it I think Mac G was building towards that future war. I think if we got the trilogy we were meant to get by the third movie I think it would have started to look like what James Cameron showed in his movies. But that's just my interpretation of it
@@millerman9991 probably, but we were all hyped for a terminator movie set in the future war the way Cameron depicted it: human settlements living underground, using archaic tech weapons so that they are untraceable to the machines, using dogs to detect who is human or a cyborg, scavenging tech from fallen robots, etc. Salvation was just a road trip movie focusing Sam Worthington the entire time while he walks around and stumbles across Kyle Reese throwing the old movies one liners here and there: "come with me if you want to live", "I'll be back", literally nothing happens in the movie... nothing from the future war we see in the first films flashbacks, it was a waste of time and opportunity

Hey Sebastian. I completely forgot that Jason Clark was in dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I really need to revisit that movie actually that trilogy it's been a while. Jai Courtney like I said in the video I can't think of one performance from him that was half decent. I forgot he was in Jack Reacher. A huge thanks for letting me know about the sound as well. I won't be using that room all the time but whenever I have an edition as big as this it's nice to have a bit of room to play with. All the best my friend
The packaging could have been cut down by 50%. If I'm going to pay for a box that size, there better be a bust/figure as part of the set.
It would have been perfect if there was a bust inside this release. It's such a shame it never came with one. I do like the contents inside but my god the main box is ridiculous
I didn't like Terminator Genisys Keith LOL but that is a very nice set worth owning for sure nice box art and cover art with coins 👍👍💪💪😎😎
Like I said in the video no Terminator movie will come remotely close to the original two but I always had fun with them. The box set is a bit of overkill but I'm happy to have it. Thank you for checking it out

When I saw the box, I thought inside was a bust of the T800 or T3000 or even better Emilia Clarke bust 😮. I managed to get a Steelbook from HMV ages ago for a £10. They tried to do something different to move the story along as T2 was Cameron saying I am done with it. Can imagine the meeting for casting. We need somebody who is well known to play Sarah Connor who isn't afraid to appear naked to get the adolescents in. Did anybody see Game of Thrones last night that Emilia Clarke got a great rack. I remember James Cameron trying to promote this movie. It was so blatantly false and I couldn't believe a word he was saying. But I did enjoy the movie as I did with any Terminator movie. Just because they don't live up to the original two doesn't mean you can't enjoy them. I have absolutely nothing against Emilia Clarke but she was horribly miss cast in this one. She just doesn't have the present that Linda Hamilton had from the second movie. I think the movie was a missed opportunity in the end and it's a shame we never get to see where they were going to take it
Regards miscasting of Emilia Clarke the film was directed by Alan Taylor who had amongst other things (including the not so good Thor Dark World) directed quite a few episodes of Game of Thrones
I never thought to check out Alan Taylor's filmography. Well that explains why Emilia Clarke was in this movie. I have to admit Thor the Dark World is probably my least favorite Marvel movie.
I also liked terminator genesis ,it’s no T2 but it was good 👍🏻

The company behind salvation put everything they had into the movie and video games, toys etc so when the film bombed they had to sell the rights.
Alan Taylor who directed this and thor the dark world had obviously worked with emilia on game of thrones but agreed the casting of the leads was wrong but it would’ve been interesting to see some of the other choices
I knew Alan Taylor directed the second Thor movie but I honestly didn't realize he directed a lot of episodes of Game of Thrones. So that explains why Emilia Clarke was cast as Sarah Connor. Just like yourself I would have been interested to see some of the other choices. I'm not one of these people who thinks that only Linda Hamilton can play Sarah Connor but I really do think they could do better than what they've done in this movie. It's a shame
I don't like Genysis I only care for the 1st 3 films especially T1 and T3. That is a very cool set though that has some awesome things inside it nice pickup.
Like I said in the video I enjoy all of the movies in the franchise but none of them come remotely close to the original two. It's a nice edition but it is ridiculously oversized. Thank you for checking it out

This is actually a 4K release. The second edition that I showed in this video is the 4K release. I didn't open it up because it's the same Steelbook as the first

Honestly I have nothing good to say about him. I think I seen him in four movies and I couldn't stand him in any of them. I'm actually trying to erase that Die Hard movie out of my memory bank. Unsuccessfully unfortunately
I love Salvation. I definitely wish they had of continued down that route. I own one Hot Toys fig, and its of Christian Bale as John Connor. Such a stunning fig, with so many little extras. My biggest gripe with Genisys is Matt Smith. He's a terrible actor, and not believable as a bad guy. Other than that it was still an entertaining movie. Even if we did get a poor mans Sarah Connor/Kyle Reese and T-1000. Not quite the Wish version, but more TK-Max haha
When you mentioned Matt Smith I was very confused and I had to think for a minute then I realized who he was in the movie. If I remember correctly he was in morbius which I thought he was terrible in.

Nice edition. I think the film is by far the worst of the franchise. It’s the only 1 (Apart from the original obviously) which I don’t own in 4k. Even though it will complete the set, I just can’t bring myself to do it 😅

Lovely Set Terrible Movie I struggle to see how it fits in the whole Terminator Franchise it feels more like a stand-alone rather than a follow on to T3
I think Terminator Dark Fate done something quite similar. Trying to break the timeline and it never seems to work. I take it for what it is a fun popcorn sci-fi movie.

I dunno, I can have fun with this and Dark Fate as spectacle action movies. I'd certainly watch these over 3 which is probably the most average of the series. That felt like a TV movie.
