Over breathing is one of the main reasons for poor abduction That excess air pressure has to either get held (risk of locking) or blasts through the folds. Great advice: breathe low, into the back (Sutherland said tailbone as you do), use breath to access open throat (thinking Italian u vowel as you inhale can assist that latter process). Norm, I don’t feel anything at all engaging upward (or coming up in my belly) at the attack like you mentioned you feel subtlety. Richard Leech said he felt that too, especially for high notes. I feel everything pushing down whether I’m low or high. Does that mean I’m doing something wrong in my set up?
Kindly suggest how to hold the breath steady while singing ! Despite Knowing all my techniques and practising I still tend to sound wobbly when i start singing ! The nerves always take over subconsciously;(
This is difficult to understand..😅 sorry I don't understand... specially that imagining ribs and Lower back ,tailbone. Can you recommend me some Physical excercises that might help Correct breathing
