    Thank you for this, you mentioning that ur tummy has to tuck a bit and it should happen mid abdomen (I was thinking it had to happen near ur pelvis) was very helpful

    Do you know, that in UK they suggest to LongCovid patients exercises like you teaching.

      We did not know that! How interesting! Opera singers do have to work on improving their lung capacity and breath control, so it does make sense.

      @@UtahSymphonyUtahOpera In Switzerland their are also singers they do every day live teaching. Folklore and other groups couldn't do their training because of Corona. Around 800/900 people are joining the live stream daily. If you want to watch it it's also on TH-cam voice training = " Einsingen um 9 ".
      I discovered 3 months ago.
      The only thing is they teach in German. Greetings to you. 🇨🇭🌻

    do opera singers sing when they breathe in ? regards

    • @huss2600
      @huss2600 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      No, you can't sing on an inhale because singing happens on an exhale because the air has to go out from your vocal cords which allows the cords to vibrate and produce sound.

      though my teacher tells me to sing in a manner of inhalation. But it's more of a metaphor. haha

      This is the problem - so many people reach the same thing but a different way. It’s so subjective (our understanding) .. I totally understand your teacher and agree. I change how I express these things depending on the student as we all speak a different figurative language and learn fldifferently. It’s whatever makes sense to you. Your teacher makes sense to me as that’s how I was originally taught

    Oh, God! What a " confusing and
    babling " explanation
    Bla, bla, bla ...
    What is it the news????
    Good idea the letters running; so we can't see your body movements.
    I'm surprised
    you don't ask for the " avioncito" ( lips drilling)....
