Amazing video, your content and website production are top notch. I think the burbles love hate, it really depends on the exhaust note and the frequency. Keep up the amazing work, you sir are a professional. The burble on the down shift and coming off throttle are perfect… 1-3 little pops sounds amazing.
I actually like the burbles when they aren't extremely long and loud. But I also like them off, probably why I mostly drive in comfort mode 😆.
Yeah I totally get what you mean, sometimes burbles are just over the top when you don’t want the attention. I have Comfort mode set to pretty much zero burbles but, sport mode I’ve gone full idiot mode 😂 once I get bored of them I’ll turn it down in bootmod3. Love that you can configure it so easily 👌🏻

I could not wait to hear my car pop and just a month later im back to the normal oem burble settings. Gets a good strong 1-2 loud pops instead of going ak-47 mode for 4 seconds straight 😂😂 def feels like im giving the B58 a break

I straight up have the burbles off in MHD, still happens just cause of the downpipe but very minimal and that's how I like it

For my f30, I have the aggression all the way up but the duration down to 2. For the n20 I find that it gives it a few really loud bangs instead of a bunch of muddy burbling

I have the burbles on my 340 most of time off, I like the mhd soft with 0.3 to. Then I get 1or 2 two pops and that's it. In Germany the people are crazy, they are not so on the chill side.
for me personally I like like 3-4 little burbles on initial decel but I agree when it 100 loud ass pops from 7000rpm to 2000 its like lets cut that out real quick 😂
I like burbles i have my f30 335i set to soft on mhd, and 1.2 seconds, similar to oem M340i burbles. I think it sounds great.

I only hate the burble sound when it's longer,I prefer shirt or medium the loudness is not an issue. But this one is almost perfect. And your car sounds great.

Me having the 340i + mppsk is enough.. doesn’t sound too forced and it keeps it really minimal until you wanna have a bit of fun! Having too much burbles, pops and bang is a bit much imo.

Well done. Funny because I used to think the burbles on your earlier builds were too much for my taste. I'm a "young" 52.. It's a relative... Anyway, I too have a more "mature" taste I suppose when it comes to the sound my car makes. I don't want a car that annoys people like a badly modded Civic. Nor makes the young (and older) ladies cringe at the thought of pulling up in my F30. And that's where I've struggled with the N20/26 motor. Mine is relatively stock until I can come up with not only the extra cash , but the right set up to get the "right " sound. As always, thanks for your videos. They definitely have helped. It's nice to see your tastes becoming more refined over the years too. :)
If you have your cold start on, the GTS start up roar will be more aggressive

I have burbles on my MPPSK f36 but not over the top. I don't care that much, but do like the gunshots when pushed. Limiting the burble settings means limited the gunshots right, or are they separate? I assume the gunshots are just exaggerated burbles. Just bought BM3 and going for stage2 when I get around to it. Awesome video as always, thanks!

Once u buy the tune u can use your stock cat to get burbles. Wouldn’t recommend it tho becuz you will destroy your cat lol

Nah u can raise it and be fine I’ve been doing it for like a year now I’m adding a downpipe today . Just don’t set it too aggressive. No pops and bangs and you’ll be fine. But eventually u will burn out the cats
So in a past video you kinda showed that the MHD tune was (not your exact words) a smoother and more refined tune than BootMod3. Does that still hold true?
Mhd makes wayyy more power and is definitely cheaper, but bootmod3 is more reliable

xHP is a must, really rounds out the engine tune, the options are awesome, the extra line pressure is a must if you run a lot of power too, the drive transmission settings are off though, goes into too high a gear all the time but it's all adjustable, several settings all too high but you can manually set shift points, other than that I love it

Almost non existent, i would maybe og 0.3 sec with a little more aggression :D from 1.4 to 3.5 maybe or maybe stay at 0.2 sec actually
