    Relating with Eminem’s emotions is what I feel for. I can’t relate with what he once wanted to do to his mom, but I feel empathy for the anger she caused him. I can also relate with his anger. It’s sometimes about the feelings and emotions, not only the words!

      animu weeb Right. He doesn’t. Cleaning out my closet was like mainstream, and most people don’t ever listen to more than just mainstream songs. That’s what is sad. I can think of a plethora of songs that other people may relate to, word for word by Eminem. That’s why so many artist hate putting out albums! The fans don’t actually thoroughly listen.

    • @jazzcritic3587
      @jazzcritic3587 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      legitimate-talks I know bro. T.I if anyone should relate him and Em had songs together and T.I said him and Em bonded when both of their best friends Big Phil and Big Proof passed. Theirs Em songs about that difficult and Your never over. Every em album has things everyone can relate too. Such as rock bottom and if i had. Its about being poor depressed and unfufillled with life. Mmlp has a lot of content but its said in anger and passion. I can fuck with that. Eminem show he raps about his daughter and sings to her. U dont need to be white to have kids and relationship problems, go thru sadness depression and all that. Ems horrocore shit is only a fraction of whatbhe raps about and even their its therapy in a way. So any argument saying Eminem has no content and I cant relate to him is total bullshit

      Jazz Critic Exactly!! I really believe that people really just want to go against anything they can’t understand or that seems too complicated! If someone does not have knowledge on a subject, they shouldn’t speak on it until one has taken the time to gather deep information and not just tiny bits of a larger picture...

    By saying a black man can’t relate to Eminem and a white guy cant relate to Tupac is kinda disrespectful to an artists talent. People like Tupac and Eminem specifically have the artistic properties to make anyone feel like they are in that moment sharing those feelings. I’ve never been the person Tupac talks about, a black man in the 90’s against the law and system, the panther movement, etc. But when he talks about it, and I hear it, he paints such a vivid picture and can see and feel it. It’s just an ability some artists have. The ability to temporarily place you in their shoes, and give you perspective you didn’t have before, and now you can see things differently.

    • @miles1272
      @miles1272 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ngm Mngw that’s what I’m saying. And even as a white dude, I felt that. That’s Tupac’s talent as an artist. He can make anyone feel what he’s portraying in his music. People like Em and Tupac can make their opposites feel their life, and the shit they come from.

      @Ngm Mngw Dont generalize an entire group of people based on the color of their skin. Thats.... racist. Also there are far more black folks on the planet than white. Whatever you do dont challenge your weak willed victim mentality the truth will crush your sorry mind.

    I don’t get why people say chance just started it’s almost 2020 and he blew up in like 2012. How much time is enough to be considered a vet?

      Exactly. Charlamagne is just old, he says the same thing about every artist that started in the 2010's, like their all "new", because they havent been in the game 20 years. Old heads forget that 5-10 years is a very long time for a hip hop career. Most of the 90s/early 2000s rappers were already considered legends by the time they were on their 4th or 5th projects. Jay-Z was retiring by his 7th year, and going out as a legend. Chance is on his 7th year now, so calling him new makes no sense.

      Technically he released his first studio album this year.
      Jay Z was rapping for 7ish years before Reasonable Doubt dropped
