We were always told NOT to touch the tent when it rained or snowed, that's why it's dripping inside. Sooo as my dad would yell STOP TOUCHING THE DAMN TENT & GO TO BED! ;)
I think when you assemble the wood stove, you've got the top cover on the wrong side. The chimney tube should be on the opposite side of the glass door. The air intake from the front n exit from the rear end, that should eliminate the smoke problem. And also, it's easier for you to cook with the top space facing you rather than blocked by the chimney.
I didn’t assemble it. It’s welded that way and designed that way. If you don’t believe me feel free to go to their website and check the informational graphic on why it’s built like that.
They make a nice vestibule for those tents. Sold separately of course! It would definitely help with your snow blowing into the tent. The door working properly would also help. Love my UP 2 Mini, great hot tents. Great video as always, really enjoy your adventures.
Thanks for this great video!!! I am not done it yet but am enjoying it a lot! and I will keep watching as many videos as I can, love me some camping especially in the winter!
Super cool tent and stove… looks like a great idea that needs a little tweaking, but that’s why we need you! To show us how these things perform. Your videos are awesome man, I appreciate you.
Hi tony. Hope you and your family are well. Another great video. We do a lot of hot tenting where I’m at here in British Columbia. Especially during hunting season. It takes a lot of trial and error. You are brave to do it untested for the world to see. Who cares what the trolls say. I’ve gotten ideas and hints from watching your vids. New Zealand looks so beautiful. I was so happy you came here. With my health issues I’ll never make it there so I love seeing it though your vids. Bless you 🇨🇦
Thank you for video I am buying a hot tent soon. I am from New Mexico USA . Still summer here but I really appreciate the experience with the hot tent. What I can expect makes me think about stove that good for size of the hot tent. Thank you I'll be watching
I thought this was a great video. I had a chuckle at the start of the video. My husband never reads the instructions so it was like I was there, lol. I was actually a little stressed during the setup 😂 This was more informative because we got to watch problems be solved as they happened. Most entertaining! Will get my husband to watch this episode. Keep on keeping it real, love it !
Bear tent is hot tent an you see it keeps you super warm you going wanna open windows!!! Tony you going bake set that stove up right very important open that bottom vent piper cove need at top its in your kit so it gets air no water down pipe your pipe could be upside down seams leaking in, the stove has other features like water heater attached to pipe and small oven. bring your fan your going need it I know I own one 3 yrs never failed. the door that's weird never seen that problem wow that top I got cover on my top its 12 inch round wow... the extra hooks have dual uses another inside layer can be added for arctic uses allowing for temps -50 I used it in swamp /snow no water got in... is a sun tan without sun your going bake New Zealand style... love the video excellent ( first I ever seen a bad bear fail) All in all you did it nice camp you got the windows open door open an you in t shirt yeah welcome to hot tent camping 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've watched some videos by @AtikAilesi and will say they seem to have the set up process down to a science. From the videos that I've seen, they always use a stove and the floor mats. They're also great with organization. Hopefully some of their techniques will help. Happy Camping!
Started thinking what a dope going through drive thru the wrong way then quickly realized I was the dope forgot your driving in right side of the car. Lol
Hey Tony, I think you did a major foot foul when you fired up that portable stove without letting burn off of toxins beforehand. I hope not with this high quality product. Best, Den
Did it drip out of the middle hole where the pole was screwed in? I mean to remember that there is a knob you can screw in after you have set it up. I was always wondering what it does.
Wish you would have tightened that bold on the door to see if it extends out in four directions, that's the only thing I could think of fixing the door mate
I think that door goes on the top otherwise the tree will leak. Stove you resembled wrong way and smoke should have cover on the top. And also you Elbo pipe bend on the top.
Tony, got a question... What would be the difference with having your truck keys out of the ignition, and on you if your door was to freeze? What difference would it make having your keys in your possession if the door froze?Just trying to understand...
I think you missed the point. I always carry my keys on me. If the doors froze and I couldn’t get my keys out then I couldn’t open the manual deadbolt on door if the battery died due to the cold.

Hi toni that is so cool
Thanks for an awesome video. It’s good to see someone who’s not afraid to try something he hasn’t done before.
Best way to fall asleep is watch his vids. Thanks Toni😊
We were always told NOT to touch the tent when it rained or snowed, that's why it's dripping inside. Sooo as my dad would yell STOP TOUCHING THE DAMN TENT & GO TO BED! ;)
If the tent is up, kept you warm and you lived to tell the tale, sounds good to me. I enjoy your adventures.
It’s amazing how it’s summer and warm here and freezing cold and winter there, northern southern hemisphere
Just started watching your video's and enjoy them very much it relaxes me before I go to sleep x
You should definitely have the floor down that comes with the tent it is lined and help keep the inside warm/hot .
I think when you assemble the wood stove, you've got the top cover on the wrong side. The chimney tube should be on the opposite side of the glass door. @@hoemengsham110 that’s the way the stove is designed
You seen that too, LOL😅😊
@@bobp6698 poorly and backwards?

Watching this with a nice Malt Whisky at bedtime in Devon, UK. Great stuff Tony ! 😊 🥃 ⛺️

My wife is the same way. LOL
Fascinates me I love snow I'm in tenn but raised in mich .miss the snow
I just started watching your camping. This is my second video. I have truly enjoyed watching this video! I will keep watching. Thank you!
I saw people putting the stove sideways with one of the glass walls facing front. You must load the wood from the side but that should work well.

Thanks but that's not for me. Too perfect.
Every time you go camping it looks like a lot of work, so I’m not disappointed.
Started thinking what a dope going through drive thru the wrong way then quickly realized I was the dope forgot your driving in right side of the car. Lol
The tent doesn't look that big from the outside. Inside, it's huge! I recon you've got a tardis Tony 🙄
Keeps the outer layer and inner layer from touching. No more condensation
I like my 🍔 well done too. I'm surprised you have the comment section opened. 😮
I assume the tent wasn’t leaking, just the nut condensing moisture because it’s freezing outside and warm inside
Yup, it's just sweating like a beer out of a cooler.
Hey Tony, I think you did a major foot foul when you fired up that portable stove without letting burn off of toxins beforehand. I hope not with this high quality product. Best, Den
Another fantastic video Tony ! Thank you 🙏
LOVE THIS HOT TENT FOR YOU. DOING GOOD TONY😊
I love your videos and I wouldn’t change a thing
Hi Tony I love the winter snow❤
Brilliant
Kudos on a gr8 video!!! (We love hot tent vids, however YOU got me when you pulled out the CIGAR....woooooooo!
Your videos are inspiring and relaxing. Thank you for sharing.
Top probably isn't leaking. Just sweating from the two complete opposite temps from outside and inside.
Looks cosy 😊
only thing you did absolutely wrong was the stove, your supposed to burn off the chemicals outside before using it in a confined space
Enjoyed the video
Big fan Tony. Keep up the great work 👍🏾
Also you should be cleaning off your truck. Snow gets pretty heavy after while. I live in =Minnesota and heavy snow can get brutal.
Absolutely love all your videos Tony!!
Did it drip out of the middle hole where the pole was screwed in? I mean to remember that there is a knob you can screw in after you have set it up. I was always wondering what it does.
Love your videos.
Wish you would have tightened that bold on the door to see if it extends out in four directions, that's the only thing I could think of fixing the door mate
Watching again, so much fun!
Lol you are to funny😂😂😂! Love your videos
Absolutely love your video & you! BIG FAN❤
I think that door goes on the top otherwise the tree will leak.
Stove you resembled wrong way and smoke should have cover on the top. And also you Elbo pipe bend on the top.
Other wise tent will leak
And you’re wrong on everything
You needed to put the small pole in where you removed the big pole from it would have stopped the leak
I think the door is on the wrong side. The way it is everything venting towards the door.
Thanks for the great videos. Any idea when the new pups will come along?
Awesome work Tony. I'm here in Auckland and your videos are great :)
well that's enough to put me off, I like your bush setup better and I'm sure so do you. also we need to get you onto better coffee
They make fans that have no batteries but are thermal that go on the wood stive heat up and run
Chimmey for stove should be the other way around with the flat surface facing you
What kind of moccasins are those??? Would love to get a pair but I can’t find them online. Awesome video btw!!!

Did you ever put the short anchor bolt in the top ? It keeps the tent up, prevents the tent from collapsing
Yes. I show this in the video. The tent was faulty.
I miss Bruce
@@y5chu I was just watching and thought to myself "where's the dog?" And then I remembered. I miss him too 😭
I miss him too
What kind of line tensioners do you have on that awning?
Wonder if it needs to be staked out prior to ‘popping it up’?
Everybody struggles with this one the first time. Saw this one in multiple clips and the first setup is always a struggle.
Tony, please, please turn that oven around, my God. LOL
To be clear this is exactly how RBM told me that particular sized stove should be used. So please. Just stop.
That’s how the stove goes, I hot tent camp in Scotland all year round and own many different tents and stoves, Tony is correct. Grow up
that nut is not leaking. its condesation from inside the tent itself.
I think it’s cuz u staked the lines with the door open like u mentioned for the door not fitting.
Did you read the top comment? They’ve already sent me the correct door.
@@ABCampingTony oh I didn’t read any of them. That’s good!!! Love the channel!!!!!
You got the oven backwards turn it around. The flat side should be facing you. To cook your food on. LOL YOUR FUNNY.
Thats a lovely hot tent.
Definitely love the content, I've only been watching for a little while. Just found you.
Can you send the link of the tent?
Push the center of door to fully expand it.
Read top comment. It’s the wrong door. They sent me the correct one later.
nice vid mate..where you get your tent from?
That stove is showing to many cracks aaround it need to be solid
Should try mount the camera on your hat like your night light
Door looks upside down or back wards
😅😅😅😅 love your vids mate
1:57:40 Why did you not mount a tent to the top of the truck?
Nice
Its a woolly mammoth!!!...nooo it's just Tony!!
Also you prolly should have a carbon monoxide/dioxide detector for safety my good man. Be well
Lol he's funny
Thought comments normally turned off on here
Put your stove pipe at the back of your stove
It’s welded that way. I’ve answered this many times now.
He used to slam hot tents.
Purposely done, most mistakes... Most items do come with instructions...
I love you tony, but next time read the instructions you can't go wrong, love your video.
I got a question: where you go for personal biological waste management work in snow?
How can the road be pea soup at 8°
Pea Soup is English slang for foggy.
Could the door be upside down maybe???? So sorry.
Very nice McDonald’s drive thru. Amex drive thrus soooo trashy.
Hint : Foldable bed solid and carry 175kg : 75€ Amazon 😂
The opening is pulled too tight
Not your vibe Tony, you like your views! Lol still loved the video
He should have stayed home lol
Bet he never goes camping again.lol
Then you don't know my channel and clearly don't know what I do.
If you don’t know how to tie a knot, tie a lot!
