    I’ve found that spraying the paint on just a piece of cardboard and then dabbing it onto the piece your painting with a sponge works really well to give a good appearance and pattern.
    1.) spray a light colored base with one or two colors
    2.) take the lightest color you want for the camo pattern and spray onto a piece of cardboard. Tear a sponge and dab it in the spray and then onto the gun/carrier or whatever your painting. Do this in several spots
    3.) take the next lightest camo color do the same as step 2
    4.) go through the all the colors you want then let dry for a couple minutes.
    5.) spray over everything with a matte clear enamel layer to add extra protection

      Not me! :>/ i pay the extra for multi-cam when i joined a Militia group.They expected all of us to buy what the military was using currently.So when in the field the U.S. military could tell we were U.S. personnel or at the least the good guys. I stayed in for a while and we did some good work after disasters as well as ran security for the 2018Freedom Rally in DC.But they just need more time from me then i could give.So i consider myself a minuteman or III%er rather then Militia although i still support them.I have since purchased a 2nd set of armor for my wife but went with olive green for hers.I plan to paint my multi-cam a solid or two or three tone green. In winter we will be using white poncho's over our gear as well as white pants.

    the whole idea of this is that we can change the pattern every time we change landscapes,isnt it? I just want to make sure im buying the right kind of paint?I dont want it peeling off or making me sick in some way?lol I own a military issue camo colored carrier and i found threw experience that a solid olive,ranger or other green color, works better then the multi-cam here in the U.S. compared too the other countries foliage.During war games we found the guys in solid green were more able to maneuver up much closer ,to emplacements and guard posts then if they were in all Multi-cam.So a lot of us have started buying all olive green or other solid green colors that better match our U.S. foliage.Even if we are stuck using our multi-cam uniforms.putting on solid green gear over it makes you more broken up and the green over the multi-cam helps hide you better at the least. I think for where you are at this paint job is awesome!!! Great job.I honestly think it looks like you purchased it that way! I dont do any videos myself but i can say better lighting during the process of painting it would have been better?lolBut seriously brother it looks like it is professionally done!

      It will eventually wear off, but it should hold out for a while.
      Rust-oleum camo from Walmart is good. Nice and flat, no sticky.
      It will make fabric stiffer, but will soften up with wear. I've painted pants and bdu blouses and it turned out fine.

      @michaelw.urbansr.8617 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@randomgeneratedname1264 Thanks i did purchase Olive drab carriers for our armor so would really only have to tape them with two other colors of green i think? Although Olive drab alone works the best in my area of the world/country.Better then OCP and other military camo's. When i was still in the states Militia we would train it two different colors. One group ran in their OCP and the other in all green uniforms and it was very hard to spot those in sold green.OCP was a bit easier as soon as the person moved.
      But for some reason we found in our training or war games that olive drab or even kaki worked better. But I do want to paint my weapon and im thinking camp on that for the cool factor?!LOL thanks bro

    • @Riceball01
      @Riceball01 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, since the paint is not mixing with the dye used in the materials, it's just going over and covering it. It would probably require more paint if you wanted to make it lighter and look color accurate. I once painted a black nylon web/pistol belt extender with green acrlylic paint and even though the paint wasn't OD it looked fairly OD, but that was because I just layered coats of watered down acrylic over it, if I had used it the paint at full strength it probably would have looked kelly green like the paint was.

Not sure if theres something i could or should mix with the dye to help it spray even if it should technically work.
