Well at least yall can login. The game keeps giving me and others Error so just waiting on a fix.
I do somewhat understand not surrendering, even if you see Oracle and Pact both on the stack. As the enemy loosing to it you only have to wait once. But the player piloting Thoracle has to go through the motions every game the opponent doesn't surrender. So like a small punishment for playing this deck. Neat!
but you are also losing your time so....
@@kaerustation Oh, of course. Thats the reason you would surrender in the first place. But you don't lose time every game and you can tab out to watch a video while the combo player actually has to click the whole time.
Kul liv… 🫠
I prefer just gambling for a turn two win with necropotence.
Why no bowmasters?
Can certainly make room for it by cutting Dark Ritual. We're not going to win with damage, so would mainly serve as removal for one toughness creatures. Still good, but not as amazing as it can be in other decks.
Oh its an alchemy format... that certainly solves it for me.
They took the time to make this format but not a Historic variant that excludes alchemy cards :/
...RIGHT!?
I stopped playing historic because of alchemy cards .
@@kharnthebetrayer1575 I played timeless most of the day yesterday using a u/w remand-tribal/mana tithe deck in ranked Bo1, and I only saw one alchemy card all day. I'd definitely prefer if Alchemy wasn't part of the format, but at least the cards aren't ruining it yet.
Whining about alchemy cards when you see the stupid shit happening on screen in this video really just doesn't jive with me.
@@AzureAiluren Why? This isn't historic and OP was complaining about alchemy cards in historic
You: Thassa's Oracle...
Me: Stifle.
Which Deck plays Stifle?

Lotus field variants. Stifle is excellent in fetchland formats since it's effectively 1 mana land destruction. Any Eternal format usually has an "oops all stifles" decklist
I can win the game next turn...I don't hate it
There are plenty of lands you can use instead of red lands, even just off color Pathways. The sideboard red cards really aren't worth it.
I don't see how you'd ever get to 8 lands for FotD.
Lonely Sandbar, Captivating/Forsaken Crossroads, and Gate to Seatower should probably be in this deck, but excluding Mind Spike is just wrong.
FotD triggers with 7 lands already.
Nice elevator music
If they would take out the digital only cards I would play but here we are. Cool deck though hope you enjoy this new format.
That last card Bitter Triumph into enemy concession in Game 1 was hilarious
Didn’t concede
Solved? You don't even have scheming symmetry 🧐
I can see the appeal, but it's got some serious drawbacks.
@@LegenVD Best in super combo variants with a critical mass of can trips, or control decks with things like memory lapse, founding of the third path, and Jace
idk how anyone can enjoy these formats
Imo playing broken stuff against each other is alot of fun
I hate that thoracle doesn’t get stopped by removal. It makes me hope that one of the cards get banned in commander
Never going to play a format thats whole appeal is to be as broken as possible, but I'll watch LVD play it
A small part of me enjoys seeing magic decks so broken that it looks like a different card game
First you play against a player named 800020, then against one named 398? wtf lol
🤣match 6
Is this really what ol Dick Garfield really had in mind? This format is absurd
They finally give us a playset-limiting Restricted list... and it's not on Standard, or a Standard clone format.
I swear there's someone in WotC intercepting every idea that could address balance complaints, and rewriting them before it hits everyone's inbox.
Can’t make people chase a 4 of if they can only play 1 of
@@honestabe411 True, but the market on Arena is different; wildcards make it a straightforward, known number line.
I highly doubt Timeless is pushing any more pack sales. They could've made a Standard+Restricted format virtually for free, since they're doing all the hard work of maintaining Standard already.
(I said the same thing when Alchemy came out, but that turned into another pack-pushing excuse.)
a format with digital only cards is always a hard pass for me
I guess this counts as magic. It's funny that a format of broken cards takes longer to play than standard.
The duality of some magic players thinking timeless takes too long vs “ games are over in 2 minutes “
