A wonderful set of pictures of progress over 53 years, Claude Lane would be so happy with all your efforts. Keep up the good work, I'm watching your Web cams through out the year, as I live in the Midlands and can only visit you annually. Thank goodness you moved from Eastbourne, they never deserved you.

A wonderful record. So much hard work to achieve the wonderful result extant today. So much confident vision and so much committment. A huge sadness that the 50th year, half a century of determination, was affected by the pandemic. To have come through lockdowns and restrictions alone is a tribute to all involved.
Different car loads, sanitising, running methods, all a challenge as was a great deal else. All challenges met and being met - what an amazing enterprise this is! Good luck to Seaton Tramway for all the future.

If you’re referring to the original 15 inch gauge trams, I’m fairly sure drawing don’t exist, and any 02 drawings are likely to be from one of its rebuilds.

Do you allow access to your depot? I am a local photographer who specialises in recording local bus and rail systems...

It’s not usually open, but is sometimes opened as part of some special events, and most Tram Driving Lessons also include a depot visit. I would suggest getting in touch with the Tramway and asking. Riverside Halt is due to open later in the year, which will give the opportunity to photograph the exterior.

Hi Rob, nice to see that you had a good look at the video, hope all’s well. I put it together to have a chronological look at different views around Riverside, so there is a certain amount of going backwards and forwards in time as it transitions between viewpoints. I had to estimate the years for a few of the images, but most had dates on them, so they are captioned accordingly. I may do an updated version now that Riverside Halt is open, so let me know if you’ve got any specific ones that you think should be amended. Cheers!
