I always thought the female animation looked kinda doofy for whatever reason. Like it doesn't look like they're chasing after someone with murderous intent, but rather it looks like they're a 70's scooby doo villain creeping around trying to spook ya.

I'd like it better if they have two separated animations so I can make the distinction between them, just because they're different people, they also should have different personalities and ways of doing things, granted the four of them have a lot of things in common, like musical taste but even there you can notice the difference each of them have by listening to their addon tapes, same song but with sparkles of their very own personality
As much as I love the goofy tip-toe esc animation, it never made sense that four teenagers can power walk and catch up to sprinting survivors who I assume are all mostly fit
Can’t forget about the survivors 150% sprint, I think the only reason they’re catching up so easy is because they’re chasing exhausted jogging people who mostly aren’t athletic

Granted, the female Legion walk animation seemed a tad goofy. So the change isn't unwelcome. But rather, lazy. Instead of giving them their own bounce to the walk they just copy pasted the walk already used on the male characters. For someone as nervous as Susie, it would make sense for her to have the old Female Legion walk cycle, given her background. For Julie, it makes sense that she would copy the way Frank walks since she already adopted his look. For Joey, since he's a the Yes man and canonically the man that brings the positive vibes, he would be nodding his head and has a more relaxed posture compared to Frank since he'd be listening to his tape which has a more upbeat tone to it. All and all, they should really try and make them all different people, because that's what they are.

Apparently this was a bug and has been fixed with today's patch update. The female legion members no longer have the male walk animation while inside the trials.
People thinking this was an intentional change made by BHVR instead of a bug is crazy. In the PTB their tally screen animation used the male one as well which I reported as a bug and it was fixed. I was unable to test the survivor POV side and so this animation bug made it to the live game...
Yeah but then we wouldn’t make enough BP to do anything with. IMO the grind is still ridiculous, even with the prestige rework. I have a bit over 800 hrs on steam and I’m still far away from having all surv perks, and same with killer too. I have to wait until killer has %100 bonus, bring frightful flan with legion (which I had over 150 of), and then do well in the match just to get around 110k to 130k BP each match, and it still takes forever just to get one character complete on either side. It takes around 10 to 12 matches to get close to the cap, which is quite a bit of playtime by itself.

This happened in DBDMobile a long time ago, this could be either an actual change or somehow they screwed something up resulting in an animation glitch

I feel like frank and Julie should have the same running animation (the base male one) while Joey could have his own unique animation, and Susie can keep the female tip-toe animation, so that is easier to distinguish them all from each other, while also showing there own personality. And while there at it, give Joey and Julie there own voice actors. The current VA’s fit Frank and Susie pretty well I feel.

Its the Same with Trapper carry Animation. The old one was better (before he Had the broken Leg ) and in Killer pov he Had the old Animation and not the new slow one.
