Thanks. I healed. It was bad. 3rd day there it was hard to get out of bed since the muscles in my legs felt like they were on fire. I didn't know that muscles can get attacked with severe burns. Last day my ankles were very swollen. After a full day back at home I was much better.

Thanks for the video, super helpful!! I was wondering how many walking trails there are, and are they super short or a normal walk? Are they long enough for us to take little ones 4 & 6 years old on an "adventure" or should we plan to go elsewhere (off property) for a better hike?
Unfortunately I didn't spend too much time adventuring. There is a main path from the beautiful large lobby that is along a bridge to a road. It's the main strip - you'll see it. The lobby overlooks it. It's a long walking road. There are a few little trails with some small ruins off this path, which leads you to their beach. At the end of the bridge that connects to the road....you'll see it in my video, there is a trail that goes into the jungle. The sign says enter at your own risk. It wasn't dangerous. I loved it. I did not spend too much time down there since we had dinner reservations. It was really peaceful and nice. It has stone large walkways. There may be more but I didn't check out that much.
Was that beach at 9:30 in the same resort? It looks like you drove some ways to get to that beach in playa del Carmen
No, that was at Playa del Carmen. Drove about an hour? To get there. It was fun. Great shops, street vendors, massive beach.
Hi..is it better to get tickets to Xcarte before arrival or once you arrive?
You can do it either way. Go to the front desk at the hotel. I think we saved a little by doing it when booking the trip.
What transportation did yoy use to ger to the Resort and back to the airport?
We used MTS. Booked them when I booked via Expedia. I read SO MANY BAD REVIEWS about them after I booked. Stories of people being stranded and having to take a cab but we had the exact opposite experience. They were GREAT. I would use them again.

What type of room did you book? Looking to book this week but trying to get an idea which is best, yours had a great view!
It had 2 queen beds. Deluxe? It was the top floor. Make sure you ask for a room with a view of the Sea, top floor. We didn't ask; we just got lucky. Have fun! I can't wait to go back there.

How was getting there from the airport?
very easy. no issues. there are also MANY cabs HOPING you'll use them right when you get out of the airport. A crowd of cabbies just waiting for you to exit the airport if you don't have a cab.
