Have they cheaked the axel oil? The brake plates are lubricated by the oil so could be something to do with that, plus you must use the correct oil as as it is designed for wet brakes if they put standard axel oil in that would cause this, if you need any oil or advice on what oil to use, I use www.pesplant.co.uk/ thay are really knolagable and can help you out. Hope this helps

Hi Marty, brakes not working, pedal goes to the floor, how are these bled & what sort of fluid? Where is the bleed screw?

Hello so the bleed screw is on the axle next to where the pipe goes into the axel, and if uses LHM Fluid it is a green mineral oil, if dot 3 or 4 has been put in it then I'm afraid you will need to reseal the brakes in the axel as it eats the seals.

@@Martysworkshop hi, wow that's great information. Are the friction discs in an oil bath?
If they are, do they have their own bath or in the gearbox or differential.
If dry discs, do I have to take the half shafts out?
If anyone reading this has a diagram, it would be much appreciated.

So the brakes are lubricated by the axel oil as they are in the axel, so a wet brake axel oil need to be used.

Does this happen after applying the brake or after it has been sat? Also is the pedal returning fully up?

Hello thank you for watching, I'm not sure what you mean by let down? Do you mean how to bleed the brake fluid?

      Thanks for aswering!
I bought this machine couple month ago,so i wish to service it.Im pretty sure it wasnt serviced long time ago.
But i found it super difficult!
I wanted to change the break fluid(hyraulic oil 32).The oil in it is whiteish, yellowish.Looked the user manul, its not showing anything how to do it.
Than i went to engine the engine to service it.But i dont find the oil plug on it either🤪Its a lister petter ph2 18 hp engine.
Im ok with vehicles to service them diy,but it seems its a different ball game all together.
Im desperetly looking for information on the internet, but there is none!!

Its a little old for me to be honest because i am used to the type like in this video with newage axel with inbord brakes that use the green lhm+ fluid and to replace the fluid on this type you just need to crack the nippels on the axels off and let the old fluid drain out, then fill pot and keep topping pot until all air bubbles stop coming out, then get someone to press brake and bleed as you would a car brake, sorry i cant help you more
