Wow i did that exactly 10 years ago. It is not that easy to close gearbox afterwards, but possible. Still i recommend to take of gearbox completly.

Mine drains out of the vacuum hose, I’m guessing the diaphragm is u/s. Could this be causing it to cut out at full throttle? Any videos on engine rebuilds?

Those calliper sliders are renowned for seizing,, they're all like it, .. on the inside its the slider that hasnt got the boot on which is the culprit.... , 😊.... muddy trucks are the worst of getting this...

How do you know the new rack was centered

Hey Marty I have a 2019 custom and one of the rear sensors is beeping red soon as you put it in reverse. All others guide fine still.... do you think its worth changing the sensor before taking it somewhere to be looked at? if i unplug it it says system error. The loom is hanging down abit out the corner of the rear but cant see and freyed wires. Any suggestions to diagnose or simplify finding the cause ? Thanks mate

You'll be replacing them in no time as the most crucial instruction missing is to tighten them when the hub is at normal ride height.

Just change my battery on my 2.2 Transit with the help of your very informative video. Everything went exactly as you explained so a very big well done for that my friend. The last time I had a new battery fitted the machine made a big deal out of having to take the drivers seat out which all takes more time so hence more money 💰. I have an issue - When i open my boot on the MK4, The warning chime doesent sound and there is not message on the cluster. Boot light works as it should though. What would the problem be?

This was a great help. I do have a question you may be able to answer. I noticed in your video your oil level is 100%. my vehicle is at 25% and tells me the oil level is low, yet the dip tells me its full! On a 22 plate. I dont know what to believe has anyone else experienced this?

Hello,can I ask you a question please,on my equaliser adjuster is slightly pulling more to one side,,,I have replaced shoes,discs and pads,,,but still adjuster not straight,is this normal or should it sit straight,,,when I tighten the nut it makes no difference still the cable pulls more than the other,,, cheers john

Did you have to adjust the handbrake cable at all after finishing? I’ve just fitted new rear pads and discs on my 2015 custom, and on the MOT it got picked up that the park brake had excessive movement

Hey Marty, quick question. I have automatic transmission. If I replace the discs I saw the wheel is spinned a few times after tightening the hub bolt. Do I need to have the gear in N and not in P? Thanks.

I've changed the switch but now the engine doesn't crank over at all. All the ignition lights come on but nothing happens.

It would be far better and much quicker to leave the factory soldering undisturbed. Remove the old battery by snipping the wires, leaving the wires as long as possible still connected to the board. Expose the ends of these wires and those on the new battery, slide a length of heat shrink over, and simply twist the wires on the new battery to the existing ones. Warm up the heat shrink, and you have a secure connection in half the time without worrying if the new soldering is going to hold or short out
