1000% better than any Marvel/Disney CGI shitshow made today.
This film is one of the very absolute best pieces of work I've seen. Since I was a kid, up until adulthood. Timeless piece.
THANKS GOD they did NOT have CGI at that time!!!!!!!
CGI is annoying
Sure did have CGI. Just wasn’t feasible at the time.
@@secularargument Not today either
They did. They made better use of it.
For all the challenges they had, this movie is a classic. The new age technology today is shy I think reboot will never work. This also has an incredible story. A robot finds out he used to be a man. Lot of emotion in it. The death scene is still one of the most gruesome I’ve ever seen
Agree
That little gag both on the stairs and the legs were just awesome.
One could not find a better special fx specialist for a movie about a robot than a guy called Rob Bottin.
The agony of making this movie is what made it everlasting. One of the best scifi movies ever, that will surely repeat itself in real life soon enough.
stop motion is scary as hell looking. so are the melting scenes back in the 80's. The best horror movies and best quality came from that time
salute to these film makers they are awesome!
I went to see “Robocop” when it came out,now I had seen sci-go movies before, and some look cheap and such. This movie was different…the story, the character dealing with what he’s become and the emotions he goes through learning of that. Him experiencing nightmares also gave it an interesting twist, with him ultimately realizing that this is what he is, and working from there remembering that he is still officer Murphy, just in a much different form.
Robocop was and will be a very excellent of futuristic movie 🎥
It's a good film
Will be?
ROBOCOP (1987), DEU TRABALHO PRA FAZER! MAS AINDA HOJE, É UM DOS MELHORES FILMES DA HISTÓRIA DO CINEMA!
0:14 How in the world the Renaissance Center in Detroit is not futuristic in a skyline? Perfect OCP headquaters.
I Like Robocop Classic Movies
Again, they didn't make something like this anymore
WoW..GoGo💕💕💚💚
Poor Mister Kinney . 😂
What (Kurtwood Smith) is the
"Clarence Boddicker"
character shooting/snorting up his nose at the 20-minute 15-second mark
"The device" is seen once again prior to Clarence, Leon(Ray Wise) and his gang prior to their journey to intercept RoboCop at the steel mill.
"This was just stop motion" - and boy does it show in the product. They should have hired Ray Harryhausen.
The fact is that if they had used some kind of CGI with the ED 209 scenes it wouldn't have looked so scary and it probably would have lost most of its intinidating personality. Just look at the ED 209 in the Joel Kinnaman remake. Their personality is completely different.
They always talk about cgi liked it saved everything the effects in this look amazing
ED-209 still scares the living shit out of me, that grill reminds of me of a cockroach!
"what a cute robot"
5:39
*"Oh"*
I don't understand
seeing the concept art for ed 209 and robocop makes me realize how perfect they turned out... the concepts kinda sucked lol.
but damn did they turn out awesome
STOP-MOTION = 99.99% DE DESCONTO, NA LIQUIDAÇÃO! NO ORÇAMENTO!
I "love" how they dissed Dallas TX right off the back because of the weather. Why does everyone always hate on TX? Our weather ain't the best but at least we have cheaper property taxes and smaller sales taxes amongst other things. Real estate ain't too bad and we have decent gas and oil prices too.
I LOVE ED-209 I just LOVE it, I prefer him over robocop any day 😆
I would like to add if it was 120 to 130 degrees inside that building Peter Weller would be dead. Not to mention all the crew and other actors whose bodies would start to shut down. I call bullshit lol
Blade Runner and Robocop were both terrible movies to work on.
They ended up both being two of the greatest SF movies ever made. Art is suffering.
