    Yin and Yang theory is an amazing concept that is much more complicated than it would seem. It is one of the fundamental ideas in Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM, acupuncture, tai chi, and qi gong practice.
    This is a very basic intro but I will build on it in the future.
    Music:Kevin Macleod
    Yin Yang theory first appeared in 6th century BC and was used in everything from medicine, science, and astronomy, to herbs, child birth, farming, and where to build your house. Stay tuned for more and feel free to comment below if you would like to know more about anything specifically!

    Thank you. Actually, the philosophy of Yin and Yang originates in prehistory - the writings of Lao Tzu predate Confucianism - but that's besides the point. A spiritually inclined person who wants to live in tune with nature embraces their opposite side, so that a man explores his inner feminine and a woman, her inner masculine to bring about a healthy balance. It has nothing to do with one's sexuality - something which many people in this confused patriarchal world cannot grasp. To embrace one's inner feminine, it's not necessary for a man to try and "be a woman" by dressing up and acting like a drag queen (the height of male chauvanism), nor does a woman have to become a lumberjack to find her natural balance. It's all about the balance of nature, as we are part of nature..

    What's funny with this is that it applies to same sex couples to. Because it's male and female dynamics both parents can have a blend of both. Yin and Yang is the sense of it and not the literal body of it.

      Yamirka Alvarez biologically no, because yin of the universe and yang of the Earth dictates human reproduction. There's a few straight couples who don't reproduce but that's 1% of human population. We also know it runs in animals but again they can't reproduce.

      Cuz masculine n feminine are 'energies', which are like the soul, (that from inside). And, which are interdependent, co-operative, n co-creative.
      "Life-giving" Source. They must flow (change) in form. Which determines their relationship between one-another, (Foe, or Lover, etc.)

    Yin and yang is like a woman and a man, it needs perfect balance or with any lover, partner, or mate... both need to except each other or else there's no balance... husbands, wives, partners, mates together should say " I except each other" and not be mean to each other.... if one has been mean they should become nice or if both have been mean both should become nice and except each other... if one/both have been mean they should be nice and never be mean again... And have true love...

    • @johnathanfrank6848
      @johnathanfrank6848 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      but if you go back to your old ways it will become bad again, you must have yin and yang, harmony...

    Taoism created by Lao Tzu. Lao Tzu might be confuse for remaining part
    of the world. But every south indian knew he is Bogar Siddhar (a Saint from Tamil Nadu) who travelled to China in the name 'Bo Yang' or 'Lao Tzu' and found his faithful student Wu and return back to Palani, Tamil Nadu. Later Wu called as Pulipani Siddhar. He was the best student for Bogar Siddhar.
    Confucious is Bogar's Guru Siddhar Kalanginathar. Bogar already went to
    Chile, South America and introduced Mayan Calander to Mayan people.
    The Siddhars(18 alchemy saints) were master in advanced level of astral travel and travelled different part of world and also different planets.
    So Taoism created by South Indian(Tamilan) not by chinese. Same Kung-fu created by Bodhi Dharma, South Indian Buddist Monk who travelled to China from Tamil
    Nadu, India. Kung-fu is not created by Chinese, rather followed by
    chinese. Kung-fu is just a small part of Varmakalai(Martial art of Tamilnadu, South
    India). Bodhi dharma is the father of Zen and First Zen Master who
    introduced Zen Buddhism to Chinese. He sat in meditation inside a cave that near to shaolin temple for 7 years without food, without moving. Chinese pray
    Bodhidharma as second buddha in Shaolin Temple and they have Bodhidharma statue in Shaolin Temple. Also Japan, Korea, Thailand has many statues of Bodhi Dharma. Researching more... ;)

      To all:
      According to Chinese legend, Lao Tzu left China for the west on a water buffalo. Why water buffalo? In my opinion, Water-buffalo are so closely associated with wet rice civilization so that Lao Tzu is belong to one of the BaiYue ethnics that inhabited and cultivated wet rice in the south of the Yantze river.
      And, Why the west?? I think when he was old, he liked something in the west such as wonderful landscapes, weather, a religion, ... I’m so confused.
      If “the west” Lao Tzu wanted to come was so far, he would go through desert. It makes me have a question as below.
      How is a water buffalo alive in the far west where is mostly desert?? There is something wrong!!! So, I think the place in west Lao Tzu wanted to come is pretty close.
      Ofcourse, essentially more researches are done.

    If nature is a balance between yin and yang how can anyone be out of balance? Why is everything automatically balanced except for humans? What makes people different from anything else in nature?

    • @ThinkVitalityQiGong
      @ThinkVitalityQiGong  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great comment! This gets more into the philosophical side of TCM and yin yang theory. The idea of "balance" can be used to suggest "healthy" but you are correct - everything is already in a dynamic state of "balance."
      As an example, when there is too much heat we will say there in an imbalance of yang but it is only out of balance because we don't feel healthy.
      So, feeling healthy and vibrant is a certain state of balance, but in total the body is always in homeostasis.
