The reason you like this song is because it's a great song and you obviously have great taste in music. Time to hear their song The Spirit of the Radio..🎉
I think what got you so out of this world entranced was what got me when I was twelve and heard them for my first time. Continue your journey, and visit many worlds with the music of Rush. It isnt just listening to their music, it is a life experience. Just imagine, millions of people will be born, and live their entire life without even hearing one Rush song. Tragic that is. But not for me. The greatest band ever! ❤
I could tell the moment your mind was blown: you stopped dancing and your jaw dropped open, lol! These guys have a way of doing that to you. Three master musicians that helped define progressive rock for 40 years. Try The Spirit of Radio next!
It's amazing that three musicians crafted that wall of sound. Getty Lee's vocals, keyboard and bass is astounding. Neil Pert was a monster on drums (RIP) and Alex Lifeson is an overlooked but an amazing talent. It's GREAT their music lives on! GREAT reaction video. Your energy is infectious! Great reaction!
Welcome to Rush! Three master musicians from Toronto, Canada who had a 40 plus year career. Geddy Lee Vocals, Bass and Keyboards Alex Lifeson acoustic and electric guitar, mandola and later keyboards Neil Peart Drums, Percussion and Main Lyrist Unfortunately Neil Peart passed from brain cancer in January of 2020. He is considered one of the best drummers in rock. Other Songs Red Barchetta from Exit Stage Left YYZ live in Cleveland The Trees official music video Digital Man from the Snakes and Arrows tour Cheers
Best Band ever. You also have to see them live working man Live in Cleveland, YYZ we Canadians pronounce z (zed ) live in Rio, Neil Peart drum solo in Frankfurt and Limelight to name a few.
there's little these days that gives me more smiles than young people, especially of variable and lovely skin color, getting into the songs of my youth. times have changed but some music is timeless...
Welcome to Rush! They were formed in 1968 and officially ended in 2018 (the drummer, Neil Peart, retired from Rush in 2015 and passed away from brain cancer in 2020). That said, the band has a large catalog of great music to discover! I personally like watching live concert videos of Rush, where you can watch and listen to them play their complicated music. All three musicians are virtuosos on their instruments. The drummer is considered one of the best rock drummers ever. The guitarist, Alex Lifeson, and the singer/bass player/keyboard player, Geddy Lee, have been best friends since they were 13 years old, and are still best friends today. For a future reaction, I suggest checking out 'Freewill' live from the Snakes and Arrows tour.
Rush have been masters of time signature changes that are catchy and integrated so smoothly that we feel the changes are completely natural. The middle section is in 7.
great reaction glad u instantly love rush. life has been better a comfort having rush always giving, when u need it, that emotional power high like u got lol. you will see that in time if u keep listening, enjoy exploring rush. try freewill studio recommend first, then live and some of these others suggestions thanks
Great reaction! So many great songs in the catalogue of Rush. Please check out: Rush - Vital Signs RUSH - Scars (live) 1990 - Presto Tour Rush ~ Mystic Rhythms ~ R30 Tour ~ [HD 1080p] ~ 9/24/2004 at the Festhalle Frankfurt, Germany
I LOVE watching a young person discover Rush for the first time. It's a DEEP rabbit hole that never disappoints. Fan since '77 and saw every tour at least once from '80 to the end. BEST. BAND. EVAR! To have your mind fully blown, with La Villa Strangiato Live in Cleveland.
Thank you for your excellent reaction and possibly react to Rush live in Cleveland “ working man” it is on TH-cam and is an amazing live performance. Please keep enjoying yourself and making these amazing videos.
Welcome to RUSH! We need more girls! 😆 You are going to have a lot of fun with this band. One of the most well known, most loved, Rock bands of All Time! Some of the best to ever do it. They are absolutely phenomenal, you will see.
Abstract Music For Abstract People. That's What Rush Is. Alex, Geddy, and Neil Were Also Abstract Individuals In Their Own Regards, And That's What Made Them Work So Well Together. A Fan Since 1976...

Lady- Great review. I really hope you review next the song "Spirit of Radio". I suspect you'll totally dig the island vibe they work into the instrumental. It will surpass what you just called "the best instrumental on the Island". Spirit of Radio will take that crown for you. All the best, Mo-
this is what happens when 3 masters come together and create masterpieces......now we have ice spice and sexxy red, but there was a time when musicians actually had talent
It’s a shame that you can’t see a live show! I suggest you watch the rockumentary “Beyond the Lighted Stage “ you can see who they are and some great performances too ❤
Another great 3 member Canadian band - Triumph . Suggest "Lay It On The Line" by them especially this live version th-cam.com/video/BZUrr5wThb0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=B5SUCgU3LH5FCRYu from US Festival 1983 on the hard rock day of the 3 day event . There were bigger name bands playing this day but this introduced Triumph to other countries other than Canada where they were already successful
