Island Girl, I LOVE Rush! I have been a fan since January 1978. I have seen them in concert 15 times, on almost every tour they did since 1981. This is a GREAT performance! For an even deeper Rush experience I recommend "The Pass" live in Rio. Rush singing about serious social issues (like they do) and their performance is over the top!
GOOD REACTION!! Myself and two other friends saw Rush a combined 64 times!!! Die Hard Rush Fans.. Every sound you hear is done by all THREE!!! No sound engineering done here.... My Favorite song of all time "Red Barchetta live Montreal" Oh! The lead singer plays Bass and playing the synthesizer with his foot at the 6:50 minute....

Rush's longetivity as a band was due to thier shows ..They went for a record-perfect sound like this always and damned if 98.9 % of the time, they nailed it! And in the process, bag new fans yearly that hadn't seem/heard them before. Fun reaction, I knew you;d love 'em! (Drummer Peart is rated no 1 in many G.O.A.T polls.)

This song is inspired by a poem published in 1816 called “ Kubla Kahn “ by Samuel Coleridge. The singer, bass and keyboard player is Geddy Lee and Alex lifeson is the guitarist. Every member of the band was playing many various parts to create such a masterpiece, please keep making these excellent reactions and enjoying yourself as much as you can.
Apparently, the lyrics to this song were inspired by the poem "Kubla Khan" written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. You should check out the video "Dinner with Rush" its a 14 minute video of the three bandmembers(Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart) having dinner together. Its actually pretty hilarious.
Apparently STC was a somewhat renowned opium user, and he wrote Kubla Khan, an unfinished poem after a dream he had. Xanadu was Kubla Khan's pleasure dome paradise where time would stand still, and it trapped the song's narrator for thousands of years before he somehow gets out. The poem was written around 1797, and finished by Rush 180 years later.

That Brum AKA Birmingham England.Turn your brain off and just feel it.🤣Yes are an English progressive rock band formed in London in 1968 .Thank you young lady and stay safe. It is a bit of a long song.
