Hace muy, muy poco me enteré del Maestro Villadangos. Siento una pena tremenda no haberlo conocido cuando era más joven. Ahora que estoy intentando retomar mi guitarra clásica, y cómo cuesta, es indispensable tener bien en claro cuales son tus ejemplos a seguir. Y el maestro será uno de ellos. No espero nunca poder tocar algo ni remotamente parecido, pero creo firmemente que apuntar a la excelencia es el camino a seguir en cualquier empresa que uno comienza, a la edad que sea.
This has got to be thee best play of this extremely difficult piece .... This man oozes dynamics, visible by how he moves his RH. I like this tempo and the forward motion Villadangos seems to give it. He also seems to be in control of all the voices at all times. I believe Segovia would have liked this guitarist in that Segovia treated the guitar as a mini orchestra, as I believe senior Villadango does also.
