Please promote your work. You have done a phenomenal job by creating such a good work. I am at the rooftop at 3am and watching your video to make my life's best moonshot
Thank you for such kind words, made my day. Can't wait to see your best moonshot, pls do share. I promise I will create more content which will help us all together to get good images of celestial bodies. Clear Skies!
Hey there, this made my day, thank you so much for appreciating my work. Sorry haven’t been able to put out more content, but soon I will. Keep looking up and clear skies✌🏻
I'm guessing you are using lucky imaging based on your exposure time, but I'm surprised by how beautifully the details have come out, especially if you took the subs anywhere near Delhi. That's a bortle 8 sky on a very good day. Would love to see your rig setup.
That's strange as a sample I tried using nef file, it worked just fine. Please do check again, it works. Alternatively you will have to use PS for converting your files. Clear Skies.
Hey Man, I was having the same issue yesterday. I didn't do anything and when I opened PIPP today, It was showing the .NEF files in the explorer dialog box. Try restarting your PC, It might fix your issue.
Thanks Sayantan! Yes I have, with my dso setup, do see my work on Instagram astro_by_sona! What setup you have? And have you tried any planetary dso imaging?!
I have followed your video and about half a dozen others to process my RAW full moon images. Spent hours on this and just get AS_stack_check_settings every time.
Hi Trevor, thank you for looking at my video, let me know how I can help you, I couldn't understand the last bit of your comment, please elaborate or reach out to me on sonashahani@gmail.com. Happy to help, Clear Skies!
Hey Sonu, this was absolutely well put together! Thanks for sharing this workflow. For me, the final image after stacking in autostakkert is turning to have trails in it. Even for me, I’m tracking the moon manually through my telescope however the final image is never aligned. Any thoughts?
Hi Agrim, this is Sona 😊 Did you try centring it using PIPP? If not that’s one method which can help in solving this. Also when you image ensure to keep moon centered, that helps a lot. If the images are 120-150 then try stacking few like 20-30. I hope this helps. Clear Skies ✌🏻
Yes I did, in fact I followed the same steps you did and still came up with a trailed image of the moon. Even though autostakkert, is supposed to take care of aligning and positioning the the object not sure where I’m a going wrong. Please let me know if I can send you my raw data of moon so that you can validate, thanks for replying though.
What a beautiful tutorial, damn. Thank you ❤
