Welcome Astronomy enthusiasts!
Astronomy is one of the ancient natural sciences and is deep rooted in our civilizations. Always have been attracted towards the dark skies full of stars! Began my journey in 2018 with an Astromaster Celestron 130EQ - a 5" newtonian and a bushnell 10*50 binoculars, acquainted myself with night skies where I reside, with baby steps learnt directions, constellations, planetary positions their rise & set times.
And graduated to an 8" Skywatcher Collapsible Dobsonian(manual) telescope in 2019, which gave me amazing views of the cosmos from our class 8 bortle skies. Human eyes have their limitations and the beauty of cosmos is unlimited hence the astrophotography commenced.
With constant learnings, used iPhoneXS, Nikon D5000 and ZWO ASI178MC for capturing night skies.
Always like to strike a balance between Observation and Imaging as I equally enjoy both.
It's a very deep field of study, lots to learn and learning keeps us alive and healthy! Clear Skies

Most of the beginners new to the hobby use their smartphone to capture planets and since a single image doesn't give much details, lucky imaging method is used i.e. capturing video of Planets. In this video I have used my own smartphone capture and processed the video to extract a single sharp detailed image of Saturn. Free Software are used, links to which is given below: sites.google.com/site...
