I would have loved to see David Goggins sit down with Kobe Bryant. That would have been an absolutely legendary conversation.

kobe would be humbled very quick. yes he works hard compared to most people in the nba. but compared to ultramarathon runners he's not even in the same boat

Yea he died in a helicopter crash. I have unlimited respect for people who do ultra marathons but that doesn’t negate another’s work ethic. He had blackout workouts, didn’t party, basketball was EVERY day and Kobe had as much focus on a task as anybody. I think they would’ve respected the mentality/discipline each other had and moved on with their day. We’ll never know 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@mrbodycatcer Kobe and Goggins had different motivations for what they did and their intensity. Kobe was gonna work harder than everyone around him in order to be better than everyone around him and be the best player he could. Goggins wanted to harden his mind for it’s own sake. He competes against himself and suffers for the sake of suffering. They’re both hard mfs but if Kobe trained like Goggins he would’ve been at a disadvantage in his sport. It would’ve been silly to destroy his body for the sake of feeling “hard” when he had a job to do. That’s just ego getting in the way.

I gotta just say this, David Goggins has one of the most important messages the world needs to hear, his message applies to everything in life. It’s a spiritual of the soul, most people listen to him and don’t take in what he says, when re listen to him over and over again while working hard an failing in life, that’s the formula to find yourself.

When you’re active, doing well for yourself, in a flow state, doing something which stimulates the brain in a learning way; it becomes easier to make decisions with much less hesitation. @@deez751 have you read his book . Before I knew about this dude I was suicidal, and pissed off at the world. Working a dead end job, making 60,000 a year got tired of the bs. Created my own company sold it. And now I invest in real estate . The non bs attitude. Got uncomfortable. Now I'm probably going to do it again bcuz I'm only 29. I believe the quitter mindset set in bcuz I got comfy . Yeah I know I'll be alone forever but it's better to be a warrior in a garden then a gardener on the battlefield.

One thing is certain, Goggins has made peace with adding "Fucking" to every sentence he utters.
Maybe the key to living your best life is to embrace "Fucking" as the single most relevant adverb in the English language. BTW it also works as a pronoun and an adjective...
What's not to like about that?

He doesn't understand the light. The light is what he is really seeking because the light shows the truth. And the truth isn't always happy like he says. You can't just know the darkness...you have to know the light too. To see things for what they are. To not be deceived but to know the truth and embrace it, even if it hurts. He is more a student of the light than he knows.
