Hi Mathilde! I am knitting the Storm Sweater at the moment - it does not use cables. The texture is exclusively created with knit and purl stitches and the pattern is really easy to follow, as it goes through the whole thing step by step. Can highly recommend the pattern, it is a lovely, engaging, but not overly complicated sweater! Happy new year and greetings from Germany!

@@nestledinknits I am using Drops Lima, but I did not manage to get gauge with this yarn, so I would not recommend it. The only "hard" part about this pattern is that it is charted. If you can read knitting charts, you're good to go! I think we should stop underestimating ourselves and grow with our goals :D Happy knitting and happy new year! ;-)

As you are a new knitter, your choices are not necessarily easy makes. I am impressed by your willingness to tackle and learn so many difficult patterns. You can inspire many people. I have knit many years but don’t feel very accomplished nor do I attempt projects that are out of my limited comfort zone. Good on you! Good luck with your list!
