have you ever tried long grain or basmati rice? i’m curious about if you have a favorite length of rice, since i’ve only really tried long grain at home
Hey Jessica I love this video since I've been dying to mix up my rice recipe! Also just a quick advice maybe it would be clearer for the viewers to do a short intro for what's gonna happen in the video before jumping into the rice selection! As always I loved your great content🥰
All three are Korean rices. The first one is called Haitai 해태 (HAETAE) Green Rice, the second one is Diapoong 현미찹쌀 Brown Sweet Rice, and the third is Han Kuk Mi 찹쌀 Extra Fancy Sweet Rice.
As an Asian-American, I’ve always been told to wash my rice but I never understood the fact that we can use the left over water as a toner. My mother always said “the rice is dirty, make sure to wash it” but if it’s so dirty why do we use it on our skin???
The rice the many immigrants and their parents grew up with was processed slightly differently than that of the rice we have today in America. It probably wasn’t uncommon for them to find parts of the rice plant or bugs when washing the rice, which it why people still think of the as water dirty, but generally it’s only the 1st or 2nd water that was thought as dirty and next wash water was commonly used for skin and haircare. Truthfully, you can still find plant matter and such in the rice we have, though it is very unlikely. Another reason that rice is washed is to get rid of excess starch, this makes the rice more fluffy and helps to make the grains stay as individual after cooking and it’s why rice is washed more than once.
Hi Sulhee. Happy new year!!! I found 2 of the rice bags 15 lbs each in H-Mart but before I buy them I just wanted to know if the 2 bags that are labeled sweet are too sweet for adults, because I never cooked sweet rice before nor tasted one. Please let me know how sweet your cooked rice came out. Thank you
I want to remind you that it is their choice and it can be also part of a different culture. Please do not comment hate or anything offensive because it's rude.

Did you cook it twice? Or the second time you just leave it resting?
Your link doesn’t work for Amazon 😭😭😭

Can someone tell me what she mentioned, please? I only understood Rice and quinoa but I saw more ingredient 🥺
Hi! Can I use jasmine rice instead of the green rice? Will they all cook the same time if I add the brown sticky rice?

For people that eat rice about once or twice a month where can I buy this without stocking up for 10 years?
