Pretty big town. I passed through a few times on the way to Melbourne from Clearwater before there was WDW but was too young to remember much. Enjoyed seeing the town to bring back some memories. Thanks

Wooow Kissimmee Orlando, my favourite place, I visited Disney land and stayed 3 days at Kissimmee, thank you for sharing

I also like Kissimmee, I stay there fairly often. Have you ever visited Celebration, Florida? It is really close to Kissimmee and Disney World :)

It's hard for me to think of Kissimmee without picturing Disney World. I love The Mouse, but it's cool to see the town has an identity of its own.

I agree with you, I think most people think of Disney when it comes to that area. But there really is a TON to see and do in in Central Florida

We walked around this park last year and were shocked to see an 8 foot Gator on the other side of the retaining wall. 🐸

Holy crow, lol. I've seen a lot of gators while out walking but never one that large. Glad it was on the other side of the retaining wall :)

@@AdventureModeTraveling The retaining wall ran right along the mail sidewalk (there were people sitting on the wall). It would be so easy for a pet or child (or a drunk tourist) to fall over the wall. We may visit the park again before heading North in March? 🐸
