Im 57 yo and i get the amazing Kevin Aucoin vibe in your content. I think brow powder with grit (like volumizing root powder) would work so well . I have hooded eyes with minimal lid space and tight line only at the base of my lashes , not on the actual water line. Using eyeshadow is too challenging to master with my hooded lids, but will keep practicing. I will also practice with subtle lash clusters at the outer corner. I also look for serum tint /foundation that has cov'g that falls right in between. My makeup goal is thin minimal layers of products and focus on separate skin care. I love your content, especially when you have mature models with real skin like wrinkles and shadows. I hope 2025 brings you major success!
I love watching your posts on instagram! So happy you are posting videos on TH-cam again. ❤ I was in my early twenties in 2000s era… I remember the bronzer! Still can’t go out without my bronzer now in my 40s! Lol. And the highlighter powders! Remember the Revlon skinlights collection of the late 90’s/early 2000s? We would just rub that stuff everywhere! 😂
Hello Vincent, I am relatively new at applying makeup (60's). Your comment about women not wearing eyeshadow, which I am one those women. My main reasons are what colors would work best for me and if I apply it correctly. I tried the frosted eyeshadows, but the colors were so neutral that no color was on the lids. I will look into the multiple chrome colors and try again. Thanks!😊
I love your make up techniques and work! Learnt so much abt makr up from you! I also deeply appreciate how you show make up on older women. Often beauty industry doesnt cover it. As a woman in her 30s 😂i deeply appreciate it
17:48 as a fair redhead with a blue green undertone (Lord forbid you use the blasphemous words "fair cool olive undertone") I ask you all to join me in this group manifestation for a BROWN affordable drugstore mascara. 🙏 Not black brown (I call it a why-bother-brown) or a burgundy mascara, a clockable oh-my-gosh-are-you-wearing-brown-mascara-thats-so-pretty-on-you brown, medium brown with a warmer tone like a dark camel 🐫 brown. There is no point in making a brown mascara if it is so dark brown that when applied it's impossible to tell that it's brown. (examples: Glossier Flick in brown or any ELF brand brown mascaras) Why does Loreal have an emerald green, cobalt blue, and TWO different shades of purple mascara but no brown mascara that is BROWN? Even Charlotte Tilbury, a fellow redhead, came out with a burgundy mascara but no brown mascara!! I appreciate that many brands are providing more nuanced brown eyeliners (NYX and Stila being the best imo) however there is no point coming out with three different brown shades in eyeliner because they're being covered by flat black lashes. Also if you guys would include "more desaturated shades" in your makeup prayers that would be much appreciated. I've ran out of the greatest neutral nude brown lipsticks of all time (Rea by NYX and Gone Grieg (the lipliner isn't a match) by Maybelline) and when your undertone cancels out red in lipsticks (peach-pink=orange, mauve-pink=purple) it's impossible to find desaturated lipstick that looks flattering.
Your makeup tricks are wow! I look forward for your new videos .make more ,Iam sure a lot of people want to see
