some people are freaking out about old trends coming back and I'm like?! thats how it works! some of these totally rock and I have been doing anyway lol party girl grunge lets goooo
I think I like the understated grunge eye. I was a teen in the 80s , and I'm not too crazy about the wild blush colors. My older skin (sniffle, sniffle) can't pull that look off. Great video. ❤
I love that you have your own style and do what you want. I like all kinds of brands and styles from Korean and Japanese aesthetics, to western luxury, indie and drugstore. Which means I own and try a crazy amount of brands. A lot of channels are a bit frustrating to me because they always end up bashing or judging brands or make up styles they know nothing about or haven't even tried or have plain prejudices against in case of East Asian brands. Or are sitting on the extremes of pushing /selling new releases vs minimalism shaming others for owning make up. Everyone is free to like whatever but you not liking something doesn't mean something is wrong the people who enjoy it... I never get this vibe and attitude from you. You just share your honest opinion and observations. Not sure if that makes sense but I like to watch people who are just themselves and are friendly and trying to be helpful without wanting to tell others what to buy or think or providing half assed random judgements no one asked for 😅
Aw, this made my day! Thank you! I think we are similar! I was just telling a friend and perfumer yesterday that I like what I like and don’t what I don’t, and I’m open to anything and everything. I’m that way with perfume, makeup, fashion, music, food… I never close myself off to a particular aesthetic or style of anything. It’s more fun to keep an open mind 🤩🫶
Thanks for the trend info! I don't really follow trends, but it's nice to hear about them in case it's smth fun to try. It would be great if all the things we already do happen to become trends. More ppl wearing shimmer and multichromes?! Yes please!! This yr, gonna try to use my waterline multichrome liners more at work. I can't wear too much color at work, so got more multichrome liners last summer for subtle pops. But then I didn't even wear much makeup bc I kept waking up too late (jet lag issues) to do makeup anyway. 😅 Those earrings are crazy cool! And match that Haggard Scepter palette. Also, I concur ur usual vibe is party-grunge. 😆🖤
Yessss use those multichrome liners girl! That’s a perfect way to mix things up without being too ostentatious. It cracks me up that all of a sudden people are saying things like have you ever heard of a multichrome? 🫣😂
I see trends as aesthetics I can experiment with but I don't feel pressure to follow what's in right now. I'll change one element in my look based on my mood and what side of my personality I want to celebrate. The only thing I want to dive into this year is to do a full face-off cool tones makeup and see where it leads me. I like grunge, and I love it even more when it's mixed with a retro/classic look. Maybe quiet grunge is my thing (I say I was a weirdo 😂) Ps : I love your earrings 😍😍😍
I agree with you about using these as fun ideas to try here and there, but we don’t have to follow them strictly or daily. I’d love to rock some colored lashes once or twice but not daily. Grunge will forever look cool to me. I also think it makes eyes pop so beautifully. Not weird. Just cool. And, thank you!!!
I hope more 90s and 2000s comes back... I like 80s too and late 70s. I only saw half assed inspiration so far but not much true coming back. But I think slowly we see certain formulations and finishes back. I don't care what's trendy but we need trends so companies release the make up we want.
It's fun to follow but I never really see the predictions play out. 2024 predictions >>> reality was: Pink blush is out, peach blush is in >>> all we saw was nude. Glitter was supposed to be bigger >>> we saw grungy/neutrals in satin finishes Thin brows >>> just airier and softer natural brows (less filled in and not laminated)
Hey girl! I love your look here!! Omg! 80s trends crack me up. I was a teenager in the 80s and I lived in a dark smoky eye with red lips. Idk who was wearing the bright colors. Nobody in my hometown. 😂
@aleishabudgetbeauty haha. Right? I'd say shave them lol. That's what I do now because they do grow in weird spots. I had my brows tattooed on. Basically, powder brows.
I like many of these trends you mentioned, but i feel many of them work best on 15-25 year olds. They can smear the lipstick or black smudgy eyes with no precision and look cool like heroine chic, but if someone who is over 45 and 55 does that, they will be looking like a crackhead. Lol just doesn't work for everyone. My opinion

Hahaha yes you have! Ren knew what was up EARLY! haha love it 🪄🪄

Hey that’s okay! We all should do what works best for us. Thank you!!

You just gotta wait and it guaranteed becomes a trend again. Literally nothing is new and innovative

Hey friend!🙋🏻♀️🥰🥰🥰🥰 I love your earrings🙌🏻🔥 I’m so excited for this new year🤗🤓🥳
Yes girl! Let’s do some amazing things together and cheering each other on!
I absolutely love your makeup look. So pretty!
Thank you so much!!
Those EARRINGS!!! Wow rainbow lashes!! I do love deep blue mascara. I am headed to my makeup shelf to pull out the holochromes!
Haha yes!!! Pull out those sparkly babies!

I do agree. We see these trends more editorially than in real life. But, I’m all for putting them in action haha
@@aleishabudgetbeauty BTW I really like how unique and creative your makeup always is!!
Dear friend,
You've single-handedly gotten me back into loving makeup!
Awww really?! That makes me so happy 🥹🥹🥹🫶

😂😂 it was the movies I think haha
@@aleishabudgetbeauty yeah that and new wave musicians! And goths. Lol.
This was fun! I'm not into the big eyebrows. In the 90s I waxed and plucked mine within an inch of their lives. 😂 they never grew back fully.
Oh they sure don’t haha that’s why I was like I’m not encouraging anyone to pluck their brows haha but I do love a thin brow!
@aleishabudgetbeauty haha. Right? I'd say shave them lol. That's what I do now because they do grow in weird spots. I had my brows tattooed on. Basically, powder brows.
Grunge is my fave!
Mine, toooooo

🤣🤣🤣 I mean this is probably pretty accurate haha although, I always think there are ways to alter a trend to age appropriate and it work.
@aleishabudgetbeauty oh yes 💯
✨💚🤩

No to the rainbow lashes, lol if its for a festival ok but classic dark lashes will always look best,
I agree. I would do it for a special theme
