Who in their right mind would want to open the portal during the most important time of the year. especially for these 12 teams playing for a national championship. These are the teams that are wanting to be better next year as well. But why cant we let the season finish before we do the portal. There is important backups and players that are transferring from these playoff teams before there games. CRAZY
Cause you can literally transfer schools as a student, between semesters. They gotta separate from being student athletes and be a semi pro league that represents a school
What's funny is I grew up in indiana. About 1.5 hours away from South Bend, Notre Dame. As a kid I used to see a ton of nitre Dame shirts and jerseys and these days not so much
Kurtis is from Canada. Oakville. About 250 miles south from where I live. Myself I am an Alabama fan. My dad is Notre Dame. I guess it's a win win no matter the outcome. Time are changing though Canada not just known for hockey anymore. Listen it's still what dominates Canada but it's good to see College Ball. NFL and NBA look north for players.

I truly believe Coach Cignetti will turn IU brand into a national powerhouse. And the reason I believe that is not just bc of his coaching, which is phenomenal, but the fact that the success will flip the Norte Dame football fans who are die hard Hoosier fans at heart. A lot of the Notre Dame football fans are really IU fans bc IU football has not been successful for decades. Even then they weren’t world beaters. So, I believe, there will be a shift and that shift will start Friday night when the Hoo Hoo Hoosiers flip the Irish around and spank them!
The Hoosier alumni is backing IU. The T shirt alumni who always backed the basketball team but were ND football fans, the ones I know, are still all in with ND. All around me are still flying Indiana and ND flags on the poles. I hope IU wins.
