The Boss is the greatest soldier in the MGS series since she stuck to her mission till the end and never forsook her country or went against her government like Big Boss and Solid Snake did; in that sense she's the only one that is a true soldier, always fighting for her country. Big Boss is the greatest mercenary for being the father of all PMCs and that's a title he shares with Venom. Finally Solid Snake is the greatest Hero in the series, even as a tool of the patriots he always did what was right yet he was never a complete tool like the Boss. As stupid as MGS4's story was it's still canon and in that case Solid was the one to realise the Boss' vision and fix the sins of his fathers Big Boss and Zero. They're all legendary soldiers but Big Boss stopped being a soldier after MGS3 and Solid stopped after MGS1.
@@nohnit That's not why the story is stupid... As for snake being old in MGS4, Kojima made him old because he wanted an excuse to finally end Solid's story which he had been trying to end in literally every game that came before apart from MGS2 due to the message he tried to convey in MG 1 & 2. The message of MG 1 & 2 involved Big Boss' beliefs that soldiers are stuck in an endless cycle of conflict that they can only escape through death; conflict was the only way soldiers could find meaning to their life so he wanted to create a cycle of endless war but Solid denied that belief as he loved all aspects of life, allowing him to find joy in other things, giving him the opportunity to escape the cycle of conflict and prove Big Boss wrong but fans kept asking for more, konami likes money, Kojima has to deliver and so, Solid Snake is forced back into the cycle of conflict despite already having a conclusive ending to his story in each game, ultimately going against the message of MG 1 & 2 and proving Big Boss was actually right. Making Snake old and on the brink of death in MGS4 meant it would be his last game, there would be no more Solid Snake games and fans would have little reason to bring him back into conflict. To me, MGS4 might as well not exist, MGS1 was the end of Solid Snake's story, MGS2 is a what-if story that acts more as a meta message from Kojima to the player, the plotholes in it were intentional and never meant to lead to a sequel and MGS3 is a well thought out prequel that avoids the implications of having Solid Snake as a main character.
@@Sharpshot20 tldr : so basiccaly you don't approve about the story in mgs 4 and you don't consider it canon. @@MechaSalesman I suppose it just felt a little weird seeing the old Sean Connery-inspired design. Especially considering how MGS4 Big Boss looks more like his younger counterpart from MGSV than that
Remember that when big boss died in Zanzibar land, and them was resurrected in mgs4 it was because of solidus snake cell that act up as nanotechnology for his body eventually becoming a little younger again but still an old man. 😁
Frank's lack of cameo in MGSV was one of my big disappointments in the game, but then I guess he was actually saved (for a 3rd time in the 80s, no less) by Naked Snake rather than Venom, so it makes more sense that we didn't see him.
Umm...It did explain the plot hole of how Big Boss survived being killed by Snake twice in the time line and it pretty much set up the events in Metal Gear 1, It also established how Big Boss' army was rebuilt at the hands of Venom Snake (In the true ending you see in the mirror the logo of Diamond Dogs has changed to Outer Heaven after Venom breaks it, showing that indeed Venom is still working with the real Big Boss)...so it's anything but filler. Thank you. I chose Twin Snakes for a bit more consistency with the rest of the updated visuals, but I tried to throw in elements from the PS1 version wherever I could (Shots from the PS1 debriefing files, the MGS4 PS1 flashback, ect ect).
Lorewise and when you look at the cutscenes in Metal Gear 1 (Snake outruns a nuclear explosion in under 20 seconds), MGS1 PS1 (Liquid being unaffected by weapons and explosions) Son's Of Liberty (Solidus does everything Snake does in Twin Snakes), Snake Eater (Big Boss fighting Volgin), Guns Of The Patriots (Snake getting hit by a railgun and fighting Gekko and Vamp), Peace Walker (Big Boss lifts Metal Gears) Rising (Raiden throws Metal Gears), Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain (Big Boss is unaffected by fire, Venom Snake fighting the Skull Unit and Volgin) Twin Snakes is consistent. Same story, doesn't matter which one is used.
@@GeneFOX70 Lol sure, remember that time Solid Snake acted really out of character and did all this weird shit that doesn’t make any sense. Throwing a grenade into the barrel of a tank lmao! 😂
@@HouseJambo how is that out of character for Snake and what did he do weird that nobody else did? Dodge bullets? Solidus and Big Boss did the same thing. Jump high in the air? Ocelot did that too. Get pissed off because Baker forgot important information, he got mad at Otacon for the same thing. Ask unnecessary questions, repeating what the other character said? Snake did that in the other games too. I don't see how throwing a grenade into a tank is weird or out of character since the boss battle has Snake use grenades to fight Volgin. Excluding Metal Gear Solid PS1, the rest of the series is weird.
They are working on one, but the game series is already an incredible movie in its own right. I'm not sure if a Hollywood film could ever top what this franchise has already given me.
@@MechaSalesman I'm not even sure if it's gonna work out with Hollywood because I'd say Kojima kinda has his own style of film directing. The whole franchise has this "Japanese feeling" in it. Venom Snake becomes the Big Boss that leads Outer Heaven, who then dies there. John/Jack, Naked Snake becomes the one who leads Zanzibar Land later, fights Snake a second time, and dies at the end of MGS4.

@@DeadEyeDiamond Dont blame solid for killing venom snake. Blame Big Boss for using one of his soldiers (venom snake) as a cover
Prime venom snake would definitely clap solid snake. Solid Snake don't got ROCKET PUNCH
@@crypto2633 Venom snake was the former commander of David a.k.a Solid Snake. And just like Big Boss, he surpassed his mantor.
Proof that the student beats the teacher at some point.
Who was better Big Boss or Solid Snake?
Have you ever thought of doing one of these for Gray Fox?
Not enough content that I can use on the same level, I'm afraid.
@@MechaSalesman good point

I would love an original MG and MG2 remake for PS5.
How did you make this ?
Mother fuck that was one of the greatest things i've ever seen.
My only critique is that I wish you had used MGS instead of Twin Snakes. Other than that, bravo!
@@GeneFOX70 since when does snake use grenades to fight Volgin. I mean not in cutscene he doesn’t. Also, that’s a different Snake anyway.
Welcome to the third episode of:
Why is this in my recommended?
A Grey Fox mod.
Man they need to make a movie. Why won't Kojima do it
They're already working on it
They are working on one, but the game series is already an incredible movie in its own right. I'm not sure if a Hollywood film could ever top what this franchise has already given me.
@@MechaSalesman
I'm not even sure if it's gonna work out with Hollywood because I'd say Kojima kinda has his own style of film directing.
The whole franchise has this "Japanese feeling" in it. The vibe I'd say but as long as Kojima is involved, I think it should be fine. I'd support the movie anyway.
He doesn't own the rights anymore. Konami won't let him.
I dont think so..... i want movie to be canceled😒😠
Hello Mecha Salesman. Please send the link to the version of theme song that you've used as BGM. Thanks. Love you.
The songs are in the description.

They need to re-release Twin Snakes for Switch.

I don't want mgs 6 because it will make us more confuse i bet you🤯🤯
Caralho que foda Br aqui Brazilian
É mesmo, é?
Is this young snake stuff part of 5 I havnt plated it
No. It's one of a few mods that have been incorporated into MGSV for PC. Meant to emulate parts of the Metal Gear 1 and 2 story.
@@MechaSalesman cheers and I love it if we are the memes of the boss it's only right we add to his legacy

Mecha Salesman thanks my G
I wonder if this is a mandela effect? Wasn't snakes name john in the other universe?
I think Big Boss (naked) is John. If i'm not wrong he say his name to Ocelot in mgs3. For Solid in the end of mgs1 is David

Is venom snake is the one that become old snake or no?
Venom Snake becomes the Big Boss that leads Outer Heaven, who then dies there. John/Jack, Naked Snake becomes the one who leads Zanzibar Land later, fights Snake a second time, and dies at the end of MGS4.
Idk why ocliot betray big boss in mgs4
MGS 5 TPP ❤️
Inferior genes my ass, my man kicked more ass than Liquid and Big Boss combined.
What . What truth ?
Oh boy come on solid snake is the real snake because he was first appeared in metal gear. I think big boss and other snakes are the clones of solid snake because they were appeared after solid snake😋😋😋😋😄.
They're all clones of Snake Plissken (Escape From New York 1981)
Venom Snake is the best character ever made in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. The best Snake ever made.
