Windows being left open is a red flag. Found that out when looking to buy. Usually means they had animals and trying keep you from smelling them. Usually because they peed in the house.
@Janette-l3w Exactly. I went to look at a place and noticed every window that I could see was open about an inch. Thought that was odd cuz it was winter. Found out why as soon as I opened the door, The cat piss smell took my breath away. Its a Shame cuz it was a nice place. Its hard to get rid of that smell unless you rip everything out and replace it.
@klwthe3rd Absolutely. The place I looked at was pretty nice. First thing I noticed all windows that I could see were open inch inch and a half. It's winter time. Found out why as soon as I walked through the door, Cat pee. It was Stout. I had to go back out it was so bad. It was a Shame, It had the most beautiful fireplace in it. Whether dog or cat it smells bad and you pretty much have to rip it all out to the ground and start from the beginning.
I love properties that are priced to move. This Panhandle of WV is a very affordable place to buy and this property doesn't disappoint for the price. You could move in right away and do the necessary updates as you go. If i bought the house i would pay someone to clear the extra parcel so it was more presentable and you might even be able to use the land with all the trees and scrubbery out of there.
That view is everything!! Wow!!

Very difficult to get rid of pet waste odor, esp. If large dogs... it seeps into the floors ...

Wow interesting point. Never thought about that.
@@lindaadelwerth8042 Exactly. It doesn't just seep into the carpet but can get into the wood underneath if it's was really bad.

Im in property preservation and we have opened windows in the summer due to excessive heat
L looks like there are some moisture- mold issues
This screams A lot of repairs
A lot of water leaking in the basement, mold! To me it’s only worth 40,000 so much to update 😮
Value is in the land , clearly
I am interested how do I get a hold of you?
