Great shoe with an instant classic yet unique look to them, but I personally cannot justify the extra price for the green and white colour way. All in all another great video, keep it up Josh.

I love that Adidas are putting out more variations of the Mundial Team (Blackout/Whiteout/Grey/Green) however,
I hate the limited sizes. I was thrilled a few months ago when I saw the blackouts only to find out they wouldn't be released in my size. Heartbreak!

I tried the Mundial Team in a store and I have a question concerning the fit. You’ve said in your video that the foam underfoot is the only thing to break in. When I tried them on, I felt that the foam was felling like a slope, where the highest point is under the heel and the lowest part end around the arch. Is the foam will “break in/softens up” enough where it will kind of mold to the shape of my foot?
In short, what is your experience with them?

That's how they are. The heel is definitely higher than the average turf shoe. It may take some getting used to, but it isn't something that bothers me, or people, at all. If you don't like the way the feel though, you should go for something else. Everyone likes different things.

Josh what is the widest turf shoe you've ever tried? Particularly in the forefort/toebox. Desperately need to know as I can't seem to find anything that fits me, most turf shoes are a different shape (generally narrower) than the actual boot versions.
The Mundial Team will fit just about anyone.
Josh can you please make a video on how to clean the Nike hyper venoms phantom 3? There's no good videos and most people say throw them into the washer, but I feel it would damage them.
Water, a rag and a toothbrush. You can use those three things to clean any boot. Special cleaning instructions for every shoe is completely unnecessary.

I haven't tried the Tiempos yet, but I can't imagine that they're on the same level of quality as the Mundial Team.
Hey Josh, so the place that I play indoor just put in a new field and everyone is slipping while playing on it because the majority of the players in the league use FG cleats. I wear some Adidas X 15.1 and I found I was slipping a lot on the new field and I couldn't cut or even sprint full speed without feeling I would slip. The field has really long blades of grass but very little black bits of tire, so I'm confused on what type of shoes to buy? Big fan of the videos btw!
Are you slipping because the turf is shallow and you're sliding against the concrete underneath? Why are you sliding?
Yeah the blades of grass are really long but it feels like we're touching a lot of concrete underneath us. So to answer your question, yes haha
Is the width of the Copa Mundial FG soleplate narrower than modern boots? I found it quite unstable when land in my foot after a shot with the Copa soleplate or even running with high speed
Not necessarily, it's just an older style of making a boot. All of the structure is coming from the soft leather upper, which means that there simply isn't very much structure to the sides of the boot. That's just how they are.

Hi Josh do you have the copa modern craft? Are they significantly lighter than these?
The Modern Craft Mundial Team is actually heavier and has a thicker leather upper as well. They're more tailored towards casual wear.

As long as the boots don't feel unstable because of too much compression, you should be fine.

money doesnt nessarily make u like a shoe better, it just makes u more likely to buy it

I tried the nike mercurial range but it seemed slightly too narrow which lead to discomfort. Is there a similar boot from any brand that is slightly wider that can provide reasonable traction and flexibility?

Just a local men's league. I usually wear whatever I'm in the process of testing, as long as I'm confident that they're broken in enough.

Will this boot work outside on regular grass? It’s cold here right now and we play pick up on pretty firm grounds at a local school. Definitely not a great field just regular grass.
As long as the grass isn't too long, they should be ok.

Hi Josh, I have a pair of Nike Hypervenom Phelon 3 in size 8.5 US, but it's too tight for my toes at the front (squeezes them and there's not any space). So I bought the mundial team turf in size 9 US, but there's like 1cm of length from my toe and the front of the shoe. Is that too much length? should I return the shoes and get size 8.5 US? But I have some uncertainties cause I watched this video and the one on the Phelon 3, and you wear both in size 9 US, so idk if the size 9 mundial team turf is suitable for me.
Or maybe I'm just overthinking and the size is right?
(it feels nice walking around the house, but I haven't worn them on a turf field yet)
I would wear the same size 9US in both, however the fit and shape if the Mundial Team will not be as tight as the Phelons.

The stud pattern isn't really aggressive, so you can get away with it. It's definitely harder on the shoes though.
I used the mundial team tf, two of them in rotation lasted 7 years can still wear them if need be was contemplating buying a fresh pair but have read terrible quality reviews the only thing that seemed to change which everyone complains about and linked to their reviews is adidas moved the production to indonisia. I have been wearing copa mundials on both 3G and 4G artificial grass and the only thing keeping these alive are the three rivets that hold the front toe box to the sole. Reason why switched to a copa mundial is because as josh mentioned when the turf is wet it can get slippery, not only that I find on dry 3G turf it can get slippery if more rubber pellets were applied to the surface or it was recently groomed as part of a surface refresh.

The boots look a bit bulky, how do they feel when kicking the ball?
Older style boots like this are definitely more bulky in comparison to the modern stuff. The upper is top quality kangaroo leather, so they have a soft, padded feel on the ball.

But the front area is not leather as you said. Its this stiff material which feels bulky just by looking at it. I dont understand why they dont make it like the copa mundial with kanguru leather through the entire front area

Hi Josh, as I'm wearing on in years impact protection is becoming more important for my aging bones. AG cleats are becoming to painful to play in. so which turf shoe would you recommend for the best shock absorption? I'm not adverse to trying any brand though I am primarily a Nike man.
The TiempoX or MagistaX Proximo and Finale models are worth a look.

AG would offer more aggressive traction for sure. It would also be way better if the surface is wet.

I loved these boots on artificial grass, less on low profile turf (grass carpet).
Heck, those TF boots with slightly more aggressive outsoles (e.g. Nike's latest TF boot outsoles) will even perform fine on fully dry natural grass. And your feet and lower-legs will thank you.
