Thanks for the tribute video - the saddest had to be the actor who died of COVID-19, Benjamin Hendrickson - who committed suicide, and Helen Wagner (who was on the show from day 1 - thanks for mentioning her cause of death being cancer; I still can't help wondering since her death was soon after it was announced the show's cancellation, that a broken heart may have contributed to her death, even though she lived a long life). RIP all.
Anthony Herrera played one of the most evil soap opera characters, James Stenbeck. James was often considered the second most evil character in soaps. The #1 evil character was often Stefano DiMera from DOOL but others now say it's Victor Newman from Y&R. Anthony Herrera was a very gifted actor. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2000 but then it went into remission in 2001 after he received a stem cell transplant from his brother. Anthony funded stem cell research to keep it going. Then in 2011, it came out of remission and he passed away. Anthony Herrera wasn't much of a family man. He was married to a woman but only for 5 years and they divorced. He was also estranged to his only child, actress Gabby Hoffman(who he'd had from a previous relationship). He and Gabby didn't really get along. Whenever they spent time together, she didn't like it because she found him to be intimidating. Gabby had mixed feelings when she found out that he passed away. She does get a lot of her looks from him.
