      Ditto. To my eyes these are classic Toyota older school design language, particularly the interior. However these are in general more substantial somehow than the redesigned 2013+. A classy, reliable, and practical ride for the ages and that V6 is dope. High resale on these is understandable. Nice video.

      And just BETTER too-- MUCH less "TECH " garbage- no robotic assist things to fight with-- no computer crap- or INFO bullshit. Just a GOOD vehicle with pep...and 4x4 (with an optional locker installed)... that will last MUCh longer than any of the new ones too!!!

      @@MegaMikeArnoldI’ll say. I like this generation rav4 better. I have an 06 rav4 and I plan to drive it till it wears out. I might get a 2012 if I can get one for a good deal.

    Great SUV. I've clocked 145,000km on mine over 5 years and it still runs like new. Very quick for an SUV, turns into a Beast at 4,000 Revs. 5 speed auto is smooth and effortless.

    its the 3.5L V6 that toyota shows can be such a smooth engine and efficent as well. Wished they kept it in the newer rav4. Its a proven powertrain and shouldn't be traded with a lame turbo.

    Personally I like the interior, I think the center stack needs some work done to it however, the rear seats as well as the trunk are very nice. Great review by the way!

  • @1PandaNation
    @1PandaNation 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Toyota Interior is usually dated, but its really more familiar to use and not too high tech for people that couldn't understand the complexity of many things. However, not to offend anyone by that. But as a slow person like me, I would prefer to use things that are familiar than too much change. But as a young adult of this society, I still can understand by learning. My folks would have a harder time because of unfamiliarity with the changes.

    C'mon matt! This is the same 3.5L V6 that Toyota puts in every one of their cars! they vary in power from 268-269! and the Rav4 is one of the last with a 5AT while all the others use 6AT. These things are ballsy with the V6 but absolutely slow with the 4cyl and 4AT. Anyways, toyota needs to hurry up and redesign this since the new Escape and CR-V are out now

    I'm not an engine guy like you Sofyan. I'm all about the "feeling" of the cars. I understand their "nature" not what they are made of. Haha You look at a car and see components and parts, I look at a car and I see a living, breathing creature... Jk I just had no idea what kind of engine it had

    This car is nice. I've had 2. 2007 and now 2010. Both V6. Phenomenal power, acceptable MPG and with the ability to disable the TRAC control, these dudes go great in the snow. Chack out my channel for the RAV4 in snow. My wife owns a 2013 RAV4. We have limited choice on 2 or 4wd where we live. She feels safer now. She had a 2010 Camry but traded it for the RAV4 during winter storm PAX in February this year. Excellent little Cute Ute's.
    Dude, your in VA, not Ohio, so get out of the left lane. -__-

    Nice review,but saying "not enough power"..really?It's class leading power in a small run of the mill suv..Cannot work out that comment.You want to Be thrown back neck snapping horses buy a mustang or he'll cat.Saying that in a Rav 4 review is just plain ridiculous.

    • @CREATIVEreviews

      James Calley well if that was “class-leading” power in 2012, 2012 needed to step their game up. And they did.

    MUCH BETTER than all that fancy computer overloaded new crap.... and will last MUCH longer!! JUST change the high pressure oil line for a metal one IMMEDIATELY and it will run for many years with basic maintenance.. and go wherever you need to.

      Cars made in this era were known to be the lowest quality in years to make up for the recession the US just got out of. But I get what you’re talking about. These cars still had a lot of tech in them. I think you’re thinking about the early 2000s late 1990s

    • @davidwayne9982
      @davidwayne9982 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CREATIVEreviews 2012 is the BEST year they ever made--- with the V-6 and the only issue they ever have much of is the high pressure oil line- which can be changed for a metal one in 20 min. or less.. anything else is incidental. Tech is LOW-- THANK GOD-- I hate all that computer BS...and INFO crap.. if I wanted a tv ans crap to watch I'd stay HOME. Drivers NEED to drive and keep their minds OFF damn screens and all that crap.

      @@CREATIVEreviews I obviously know them better than YOU-- I WAS in that era ding dong. Don't go by what you read or see onthe "news"-- NEWs- yeah right- if I want fiction- I 'll watch Star Trek. the new ones now are JUNK basically...cheaply made but cost a flippin fortune for nothing. Anyone dependant on all that tech to help them drive shouldn't be on the road.
