Spot-on impressions. I was able to use mine for a 4 day trip to philly, and the strap was so comfortable. I don't own the non-BYC version, but the bottom fidlocks were clutch for shedding layers and the quick access front zipper pocket was frequently used. The loops at the bottom of the front pocket were great for small items like lipbalm or a travel pack of advil and held them securely. My only gripe remains the front compartment zipper ends, but I just won't reach for this in heavy rain. Another great bag from Greenroom.
Love mine so many improvements. One minor thing which they would have made the zipper on the stretch pocket go around the corners so end could be open. It would fit longer water bottle that way.
They're both really really good. As a camera bag the quickdraw is better with the gusset and in this case you can put a padded hook and loop attachment in the main compartment.

Another reviewer said the front phone pocket has loose fabric and should have been sewed down. Did you notice that problem as well?

I thought about that as well. I think it will be really hard to close if it is like that because the fabric is too soft?
This or the Chio-X? The Chio-X is my fave crossbody bag but this looks pretty good too.

They are different. The CHIO-X is also my go to. This one is at least 2X larger, so depends on needs.
